Although she told Larry King she'd never done drugs, the newly spiritual heirhead emerged from an SUV in front of Hollywood club Teddy's the other night in what witnesses describe as a cloud of marijuana smoke.

"She took a huge puff off of a joint, then opened the door and exhaled the pot smoke basically in my face," one clubgoer told us.

71. Let's clear up some facts...

1. DUI programs are ordered and completed all the time. 99.9999% of the people who do so just file the proof with the Court and that's it. It would be extremely unusual (and a colossal waste of time) to take witness testimony to determine whether or not the DUI program was completed. Paris was clearly lying about having completed the program earlier and was trying to cover. And yes, there are many social program available in jails/prisons including AA, drug counseling, AIDS testing/education.

2. Who said Paris has a probation officer? In California, most misdemeanors lead to Summary Probation, not Formal Probation. Which means probation is supervised by the Court, not the Probation Department. And since there's no P.O. to report to, there would be no restriction on travel unless specifically ordered by the Court. That didn't happen here.

3. Paris accepted a plea bargain for Reckless Driving, not DUI. So if she had to do the 12 hour AB1176 program while your drunk-driving ass had to do the 3 month AB541 program, then blame your lawyer for not getting you a better deal. Whether that will be enough to satisfy the DMV, well, that's up the DMV. It's not unusual for repeat offenders to come back to Court asking for harsher sentences (including jail time) because their original plea bargain doesn't satisfy the DMV.

4. Typical probation conditions in cases like this would be a) don't drive without a valid license and insurance; b) don't drive with any detectable amount of alcohol in your blood; c) don't refuse any DUI tests; d) obey all laws; e) obey orders of the Court; f) complete DUI program; g) pay fines/fees. There is a common term of probation requiring defendants to not drink and to stay away from places where alcohol "is a chief item for sale", but that is not typical for first-time DUI's, much less people like Paris who plead to Reckless Driving. So basically she can go clubbing all night and drink all the booze she wants and she won't be violating probation.

5. As for whether her pot smoking would be treated as a probation violation, it would have to be because she is breaking the law (an "external violation") instead of violating the terms of probation (an "internal violation"). And in California, where medical marijuana is legal, that's no slam dunk. Pot possession just isn't prosecuted that aggressively in L.A. and in this case, they don't even have a police officer saying he/she caught her holding.

6. Paris lied to Larry King several times. Which is more surprising, that she lied or that Larry bought it?

72. If I were her probation officer, I would recommend her to move her business out of the country (Maui would be a good place) so she can be granted to leave the state for work - for a long time.

She is getting caught up in the party life again and is about to loose whatever there was of her self.

One week retired from public life does not heal her torment. She need months - even years of time to cure what she was through - not in the L.A. prison system, but at Provo Canyon School and CEDU.

I guess you missed Larry King's own tv interview (by ET), after his interview with Paris Hilton, he stated he knew she had not told the truth - never did drugs and her reading of the Bible.

Everyone on the internet has seen videos of her doing drugs (bongs), the racist remarks (stoned & drunk) out of her mind and of course her infamous "porno" video.

This woman was and probably a serious ADDERALL abuser and is her own worst enemy.

i have no doubt, she'll be back in jail soon.

Thanks for clearing up the DUI...not many people are aware of the plea bargain she worked through with her attorney. But it was reckless driving due to alcohol -- not "reckless driving." It would have been nice to see you add why she was sentenced -- and quite fairly I might add. Not many people are aware of the sequence of events that lead up to her sentencing. (It was covered here in a prior post.) Hilton's lying to the judge and refusal to take responsibility for her actions were some of the deciding factors, I am sure.

Also, Larry King didn't buy into anything. He was clearly embrassed about what was probably his worst interview ever. He stated that she was clearly in denial over her wrong-doing, and that she had contradicted herself several times. What's a diplomatic way of say, "she lied?"
