Adam Levine and Hillary Clinton: Power Couple?

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was so grateful to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine for accommodating her hectic schedule, she offered to take him out to dinner. Hey, that trick worked for Bubba for eight years -- why can't Hil do it too?

Here's the deal: Levine and Clinton were both scheduled to call in to "Mark and Mercedes in the Morning" on KMXB in Las Vegas. But when Hillary's schedule got backed up, she needed to take Levine's scheduled interview time. Levine's people had no problem changing times, thus the dinner offer from the Senator.

"I love it, I will be there for dinner," Levine said when he heard about the offer. "I'm going to dress classy for her, she's a classy lady."

And Adam would know a classy lady when he sees one.

47. KT and Joe Tyler:

Despite the fact that I truly enjoyed our discussions. I unfortunately have to focus on my work and therefore, this will be my last posting.

My Master thesis examined the ways in which American presidents "sell" their wars to the American public. Wilson and WWI, FDR and WWII, LBJ and the Vietnam War, Bush I and the first Gulf War, and Bush II and the Iraq War.

What I learned from months of research is that regardless of party line, American war presidents have historically, for lack of a better word, "mislead" the public to advance their war agenda.

Case in point:

FDR and USS Greer
LBJ and the Gulf of Tonkin incident
G. W. Bush, WMD and Saddam's link to Al Qaeda

KT: I do not disagree with you the Saddam was an evil dictator, however, what we are talking about here is not why Saddam needed to be taken out of power, but G. W.'s rationale for sending American troops to Iraq. And his reasons were doctrine of preemption, the fear of WMD, and Saddam's link to Al Qaeda, and thus his connection to the events of 9/11. All of these were proven to be incorrect. If G. W. had rationalized the invasion of Iraq because Saddam is an evil dictator that had to be stopped, and not misled the public with all these other inaccurate information, then I would not have called him a lier with regards to this war.

Speaking of Al Qaeda, exactly what had happened to Osama bin Laden? The mastermind behind the events of 9/11? He was the person G. W. should have gone after, he was the real threat, now he's Osama Forgotten.

I do admit I am a liberal, however, I am not going to declare that all Democrats are great and all Republicans are wackos. Both parties have done a great deal of good and a great deal of harm to the Republic. Look at legacy obsessed Clinton, although I am a fan of Bill Clinton (if you've met him, you will understand what I mean), I think he made many many mistakes during his presidency as well: Rwanda genocide of 1994, Kosovo frauds of 1999, to name only a few. But under his leadership, almost 6 million new jobs were created during the first two years, he implemented the President's director student loan program, he signed Goals 2000, he cut federal spending by $255 billion over 5 years, the list goes on. The same goes to almost every president this country has ever had, all have done some good and all have done some harm.

So KT and Joe Tyler, good luck to the both of you. It was fun.
