Dr. Dorfman the Last to Know -- What a Bitch!

Exclusive When TMZ reported the split between celebrity dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman and his former "Apprentice" wife Jennifer Murphy, we just assumed the Dr. was aware that the divorce was going down. Uh- think again. Apparently Mrs. Dorfman forgot to clue him in. TMZ ended up telling him. Ouch!

When TMZ contacted Dr. Dorfman's office yesterday for comment, the person on the other end of the phone said she didn't know anything about it. Dr. Dorfman immediately called TMZ back, saying "Your source is wrong! My wife did not file for divorce." But TMZ knew differently, because we had the papers. Dorfman couldn't believe it. "She filed?" he asked, and, obviously upset, got off the phone quickly.

A source tells TMZ that Murphy didn't realize the papers would be made public immediately. Hello? According to our source, the Dorfmans were supposed to meet Tuesday night to talk about things. We're told Murphy feels terrible that he had to find out from TMZ that his marriage was over, but he knew it was coming.

Too bad for Dorfman, TMZ got to him first. Can you say blessing in disguise?

Cigarette and Not a friend of David...LOL. you guys make it sound like it is a terrible thing...First, Bill is GAY, mabe occasionally , OK he'ds BI...LOL... is that better???GAY...I know that personally, as well as 3 other co-workrs do...we all worked at Discus Dental...Bill is one of the f ounders....need more personal info??? why is it so hard to believe???...I spoke with 2 former (women) co-workers and we laughed that it took this long...I am sincerely sorry that this poor girl chose not to listen, but as far as her being a gold digger, bitch...yeah OK, she is protecting herself..and...wouldnt we all try and do the same??? for the comments about whether I am a frind of Bill's come on....I was until I saw him continually lie...I could careless how he lives his life...but when a person knowinly lies out of embarrasnment...you need to get called on it....Im done, Bill is not worth this...

47. That's what happens when these older men - "TRUMPERS" I call them - marry these beautiful women who marry them only for their money. I mean, give me a break. Who do you think D. Trump would get w/o his money. He is one damn ugly dude. And Larry King? And Hugh Heffner. And the Anna N. Smith 80 year?
And, of course then there is the Heather Mills bitch!
These women should get EXACTLY what they came in the marriage with and NOTHING more! Let's see how many of them would marry the men then.

49. That's too bad. I really feel his pain... I hope he was nice to her, and not abusive. If he's a good guy he'll find someone better the next time around. She sounds pretty selfish to me. That was a very cruel thing to do.
