The Unbe-weave-able "Hairspray" Premiere

Last night's "Hairspray" premiere was certainly a hair-raising affair.
John Travolta & Queen Latifah
Two of the flick's leading ladies, Queen Latifah and an out-of-drag John Travolta, walked the red carpet with some truly terrible tresses on their heads.

While Latifah was obviously rocking a wig, going Gwen Stefani platinum blonde, Travolta, who shaved his head back in April, showed off some ludicrous, long and luxurious locks of his own. Sadly, John's Edna Turnblad wig would have been more believable!

47. Travolta looks incredibly good and the flick will be a major plus. Latifah is obviously camping it up. Some people on this blog must have blinders on.

48. John Travolta has narrow minded views on Psychiatry.
He's entitled to his opinions, but it looks like he's just getting on the bandwagon slamming on meds so people won't focus on the notion that his son is autistic. If his son is autistic, then he more than likely would benefit from meds.
This is a sensitive issue that a piece of fruit, exercise, and a vitamin often won't cure.
I bet Scientologists use medication selectively like when their wives give birth to those beautiful children, then the painkillers look pretty good.

50. Holy crap! Can't anyone see what's so wrong with Travolta's hair? Look at the hairline... now compare the skin color close to the roots of the hair to the skin of his forehead. If you look closely, you'll see this line of significantly lighter colored skin that traces his hairline perfectly. That's a little too perfect to be some bizarre natural phenomenon. That's a piece! And it's obvious! What was he thinking?! And then to go out around the same time to a baseball hall of fame event and show his buzzed head... could he make it any more obvious?
He's fake, that's all there is to it. 100% Grade A Fake.

51. John Travolta and Queen Latifah do incredibleperformances in Hairspray, along with the rest of the cast. The movie was rated 5 star because iof its excellence. I wonder what motive people have for generating so much hate towards people they don't even know. I suppose they don't connect the dots - their own religious intolerance and hatreds witb what is currently going on in the world. Is there some reason we can't take a positive look on things and be a bit more creative.
