46. KC was the reason I refused to watch the Today show in the a.m. Now, I'm hooked on Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts so even though KC is gone (and Meredith and Matt are so cute together) I still don't watch Today.

She's the one who screeched "It's Cindy Crawford!!" on national TV while covering Princess Diana's funeral...it wasn't Cindy, it was some relative of the royal family. Even if it was Cindy, can you remember where you are Katie and be a little more respectful?Anyway that pretty much sealed her fate as an unprofessional airhead in my eyes.

Maybe the divorcees who are also brainless will tune in but probably not for long.

47. She's a snob, elitist lying hypocrite and a mean, ano Bit#h who thinks we all could use her liberal advice and go to hell too, as we aren't good enough; even if we take it. There is two americas'.. her and us. The news is what she wants to speak about. She hates everyone and thing that doesn't bow down to her and say, oh yes, you are THE CHOSEN ONE we need to lead and guide us on many things.. maybe not factual; but must be implied and said by her point of view.. I agree . no thanks,. let's stay away! She ate up the whole hoopola at becoming the major star of the newsroom, and sneers at these misguided pro-divorced women because she is rich, famous and thinks she is better, smarter than them, and doesn't need their sympathy and help,.. it's so embarassing to throw her a bone or life jacket,.. so let her rot with repressed spite and fury at our ignorance and lack of applause for having to do her job, which is reading script, not adding her own views.. and those of millions of private sources... and fail at something she is reaaaaaaaaally bad {Being a head anchor and reading script of actual news.. without her sneers, eyebrow raises and pointed stare of contempt} at for a change, and let that CBS, bite the bullet they deplore.. eat crow for choosing a perky-self absorbed, self-centered sociopathatic celebrity money-pit... haha..

48. Though network news viewership has gone down on all the stations the obvious is made. CBS should have seen this from the begining when they selected a person
known for her perkyness and tried to adapt Katie to real life news.

49. It's so bad for Katie that even Geraldo's now cancelled tabloid news show beat her in the ratings. Before there was Jerry Springer, there was Geraldo. It's hard to believe Geraldo beat a network news program!

50. She is dressed and perky every morning because she has a makeup artist, a stylist and three nannies at her beck and call. I don't know many other divorced or single parents that have that available to them.

I'm sure as heck not watching someone who slaps once of her writers for using the wrong word (Dan Rather would have gotten fired for doing that) because she manages to show up for work.

Ask the other CBS employees what they think of Katie. They'll be happy to see her go.

52. Who also needs the boot at CBS News is Erin Moriarty. Another shill for the Ramseys,she hired their buddy Michael Tracey, who brought FRAUD John Mark Karr to the attention of the DA as a paid consultant to CBS News. Moriarty ran a 48 Hours piece lauding Tracey's "detective work" in bringing FRAUD Karr to the attention of law enforcement. A real embarassment to the profession of journalism.

53. This woman has nothing in common with most single woman. Supporting her BECAUSE she is a woman is an insult ...almost like woman who would vote for Hillary Clinton BECAUSE she is a woman.
One of the recent comment I read that Couric said was that she is "even dressing down". To me that is just ridiculous trying to dress her in man colors. I see many other woman on tv news programs that actually dress like woman...which they are.
Dressing "down" doesn't make her a better newsreporter.
And besides I don't like her anyway.
That big teeth smile that she gives makes me sick...she is going to have a lot of wrinkles if she doesn't stop stretching her mouth to reach her eyebrows.

54. first i have to say that i am not a fan of katie couric, but i am a fan of the amazing female entity and all that they do within our society (without much acknowledgment). i am DISMAYED by the amount of cattiness and bitterness going out towards a call for female unity. what could it hurt to say, i wish her well...instead of ripping her to shreds ? shame on you, and take a look at where that unhappiness comes from.
i do wish her well, as i would to each and every female that makes strides into this gender biased society of ours.

57. CBS News is up the creek for now, because there is no one in the bullpen with the right combination of trust, integrity and gravitas that will bring back the viewers they have lost because of Katie. They have to stick with her until they find a better alternative.
