48. Quick question, folks - of all of you who are lavishing your hate onto this boy, now three months after he was voted off Idol... have any of you actually SEEN the stage show? You showed me a snippet that had a momentary bobble in it. I could show you several full length videos that showed him doing excellent work on a solo version of "The Way You Make Me Feel" and a terrific duet of "Proud Mary" where he kept pace with none other than Melinda Doolittle.

I can also quote you any number of reviews from newspapers and blogs that state he was a nice surprise.

The thing that I find deeply troubling about this is that really hardcore Idol watchers who have been following the tour know that Sanjaya has actually been doing very well and he's been able, in a large degree, to improve some of the public relations damage done to him on Idol. As a result of THIS CLIP, there are now headlines popping that this boy, who has worked so hard, who is so much more talented than he has been given credit for, is "reportedly" damaging the AI tour.

This is shoddy reporting, it's damaging, and it's WRONG. Your continued persecution of this boy is WRONG.

If you've actually seen the show - the entire show - and feel that all his work on it is so substandard as to have been damaging to your enjoyment of the tour, then you may have some cause for criticism, but if this hate agenda is based on blips, snippets and vague "reports" that are not backed up by a thorough review of the entire tour experience - including Sanjaya's work on other songs - then they have no validity. I understand Blake Lewis had significant technical problems in his first couple of shows. Are you going to tar and feather him, too?

49. Why do so many of you hate gay people? Is it insecurity? Are you afraid you're going to somehow contract "gayness" unless you're defensively hostile? Are you not more secure in your own sexuality, to allow gay people to just exist and be themselves? Do you think it's contagious?Why do they threaten you? As a mom of three, I just don't understand the hostility that young people that post here have toward gay people.

50. Come on now! He's not that bad. The video was distorted so what do you expect???? He's having fun along with the rest of the Idols. Give the kid a break.

Here in Sacramento, the show is going to be a bust. Good seats are still available 2 weeks before the show. This is the worst top 10 they've ever had. We aren't going for the first time since they started touring. All I really wanted to see was Melinda and Gina. But it's not worth $70 a ticket.

It doesn't matter what TMZ thinks, Sanjaya is here to stay weather haters like it or not, he is very unique and talented, just because he happens to be of Indian decent some people have a very hard time dealing with it just like they have about latinos and middle eastern people. 55. What the hell is the matter with you people? This kid isn't bothering you. If he comes on your televison, change the channel. If you are going to the Idol tour, use his number to hit the snack bar. I'm not a fan, but why ruin it for those who are?

I am also sick and tired of all the gay accusations that are thrown about on this site. Some of you getting as disgusting as that slimey pig, Perez Hilton. 58. I have seen videos from the Idol show and Sanjaya does really well. His "The Way You Make Me Feel" is sexy, energetic, and he really connects with the audience. He is maturing and he has a certain appealing charm. The girls love him. I think he will end up doing well as he gets more experienced. His voice is getting stronger, and I really like the way he sounds. He has fun and wants the audience to have fun.

Please stop picking on him so much. Give him credit for believing in himself and not being a quitter despite the put-downs. Come on TMZ, give the kid a break. Say something nice once in a while. He is just a 17 year old kid, and he shows a lot of courage. Give him a chance to grow up before making a final judgement.
