Jessica Simpson Skips Eva's "Public Affair"

Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria The only thing missing from Eva Longoria's big fat French wedding last week was ... good friend Jessica Simpson! Pardonne-moi!

Eva and Jess have been good pals; Longoria appeared in Simpson's "Public Affair" video and both share the same mane man, Ken Paves, but the ex Mrs. Lachey was nowhere to be found on the A-list TV star's big day. Is there trouble in BFF-land?

So why was Jessica absent from the lavish festivities? Were the bridesmaids' dresses that bad?! Was Jess not invited in order to make room for Sheryl Crow?!

Eva'a rep told TMZ, " Jessica was invited to Eva and Tony's wedding. They are really good friends. Unfortunately her cousin was also getting married on the same day!" Jessica's rep confirmed to TMZ that she was unable to attend Eva's wedding due to her cousin's wedding in Texas.

That's the price you pay for getting married on the most popular wedding day in history!

31. She didn't want to go and have the media wonder if she was going to cry, or look upset thinking about her marriage, the marriage that she destroyed because she cheated.

32. If Nick cheated he wouldn't have got a cent, the Simpson's would have made sure of that. The only reason he got so much was because legally she didn't have a leg to stand on because if it turned into a case his side would have the evidence she was unfaithful. That's why they settled and he got so much. You'll get the money if he keeps his mouth shut. That is legal fact not tabloid gossip.

Simpson's aren't that stupid...delay release of Blonde Ambition until her Major Movie Star is finished because if it's released before production ends it would be canned ASAP.

33. Jessica and Eva should be good friends. Two dumb girls. Two fake girls. Why thay famous for??? Big wedding, because Eva needed attention.She is a desperate actress. She did everything, to be in the papers.Her manager or publicist made good job for good money. I think, this is not something, people should read about. Jessica, is she a celebrity? I don't think so. Who cares about them. ANNOYING!

34. John Mayer and Jessica did hook up in 2004 when she was married to Nick. It was at a pre-Grammy party and Nick was there too. Papa Joe wanted JM and JS to collaberate. John told her to look him up if she ever broke up with Nick. I'm pretty sure Jessica said that in an interview and there were photos too. Nick did not even get all the money he was due from the divorce. He should have gotten about 18 million, but he took less, more than 8 million and less than 18 million. And Blonde Ambition looks awful and embarrassing. This new one is idiotic too.

37. I met jessica on the set of her movie "Blonde Ambition" when they were still shooting it and i actually got to talk to her breifly!!! She's so sweet, and she gave me her personal myspace it's myspace.com/sweetjessicakisses. I actually get to talk to her, and I asked her about her nose and she said she feels better. =]

38. OK...Jessica supposedly has a sex tape...Eva has a confirmed "sex tape"...Girls just make out for us and get it over with. To heck with Tony Romo, or that basketball guy...Can we count on one of you for a Christmas sex video for me to share with my friends?
