Mel Gibson: Costa Rica Loco!

226. First of all, to those who said Mel's a "good Catholic"--you obviously have NO IDEA ABOUT CATHOLICISM!!!!!!! Vatican II happened for a reason, and Mel's FAKE FAKE FAKE brand of what he calls "Catholicism" is not even recognized by the Church. It's his own version of what he wants the Church to be, which is what the Church WAS many years ago.

Secondly, TRUE CATHOLICS ARE NOT ANTI-SEMITES!!!!!!!! (Many Catholics do not support the Pope's recent statements, either.) They respect others' religions, and do not try to evangelize like other Christian reasons.

HATRED OF OTHERS IS NOT "CHRISTIAN" IN ANY RELIGION. If you disagree, you need to re-read the Bible, whether you're Protestant or Catholic. GOD HAS NEVER, EVER, EVER SAID IT'S OK TO BE RACIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gibson meant what he said--and the hatred he spewed during his rant cannot be fixed by a few apologies. Being truly sorry means being able to ADMIT YOU'RE WRONG before asking for forgiveness, and it seems as though he only asked for forgiveness in order to save his career.

229. I don't drink at all and I cannot tell you how many pictures I have taken looking like Mel looks in this picture. I Love Mel Gibson. I think it's time to leave him alone. Stop trying to make people hate on Mel. Get over it and move on.

230. I am disappointed in Mel Gibson. I thought he will be my favorite actor--and now he is not anymore. Only movie I liked he played on "The Patriot" and he did very well.
