16. I used to be one of the people who would see photos of Victoria and cringe, automatically assuming that she was vacuous and shallow, far too self-obsessed to have any substance whatsoever...which was why I was somewhat horrified to find myself watching her reality show last night. Why on earth would I care about the Beckhams' arrival here? But to my surprise, Victoria was actually quite funny and candid -- I LOVED the blow-up doll scenes! Considering the amount of attention they are constantly getting from photographers, I suppose it should not be surprising that she takes such pains to look put-together all the time...and she was "Posh Spice" after all, that was her very trademark. Watching that show, it was clear that she is very much in love with her family, she wants the best for them and misses them when they are not together, and despite her rare smiles in photographs, she seemed genuine and even happy on the show, laughing freely. While the Beckhams are not at the top of my list of interests, nevertheless it was nice to see that Victoria, at least, seems much more refreshingly likeable than I would have thought. She has a nice way of poking fun at herself, and the ability to laugh at oneself is a strength indeed.

22. #2. on her show last night it showed her getting her american drivers license. She took a test and supposedly passed it. She doesn't seem to bright to me, but I guess she passed. I was bored with the show. Very YAWN. I switched channels. I hope they wear off soon. I am tired of them all ready.

23. He is probably embarrassed that he could not even practice yesterday due to injury and most likely will not play. Surprise surprise... He knew this all along and what is the Galaxy thinking. If he does not play well, he will blame it on the injury down the road or get a new one. He is out for fame everyone. This has been a win win for Galaxy and Beckham''s. A mastermind of an idea. Pathetic...

His wife and her scripted silly show - what is there to even say. She is the most fame seeking human being on Earth. Their poor children having to live with two people that cannot survive without the craziness that surrounds them or they create it.

She dresses like a - well - you know and her three boys have this image of this as their Mother. Imagine someone at your children's school dressing like she does and you know what you would feel for her children. It is a form of sexual abuse just like Pamela Anderson does to her poor sons.

I thank God I have decency and intelligence and a sense of dignity to not act like these people and beg for attention to fill an emptiness.

24. It seems that most of the comments here are mean-spirited, spiteful, often illiterate and unnecessarily unkind. Why be gratuitously nasty about people you haven't met, are unlikely to meet and about whom you know nothing? And do any of you realize how hard it is to smile when you can't see because of the pap camera flashes? It's probably all they could do to find their car. Could we inject a little kindness into these comments, for our own sake if not for the sake of others? Would that be so difficult? Or is spite and envy what chiefly drives us these days?

25. Yeah, Posh is a down to earth billionaire (born one) with massive plastic surgery, tons of Paris Hilton-like designer clothes that she never wears twice and a pathetic passion and craving for attention and publicity. Yep, that's my definition of down to earth too.

29. He's upset cuz her show really bombed, and he had to listen to her whine on and on and on about it.

He's probably thinking what hell it's going to be, should he bomb.

But I agree with whoever said he was in it for the fame. His injury is really the first of a host of other injuries and other B.S.

My prediction - They are going to strike out in America.

He'll retire and she will lip-synch with the Spice girls.

They will not divorce cuz it'll cost Beckham too much $$$

And they deserve it.

30. Ever notice how some celebs never talk trash about others? Posh was told by a reporter that Paris had said they could be soulmates. Posh responded "over my dead body".

Paris when asked about others on Larry King said Britney was a great Mom and Nicole is very sweet and like a sister and Lindsey is very sweet. Britney and Lindsey wrote trash about Paris but Paris did not lower herself to Brits level. Posh did!!!!

Posh is walking trash.
