The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says steroids were found in the body of pro wrestler Chris Benoit, who killed his wife and young son last month before hanging himself.
Benoit's wife Nancy had "therapeutic levels" of Xanax and hydrocodone -- a generic Vicodin -- in her system when she died.
Investigators said they did find extremely elevated levels of testosterone in his bloodstream -- enough to say that Benoit was using the hormone when he died. They claim this is evidence that the wrestler was injecting himself with the steroid.

wonder what vince and his wrestling organization has to say about this now, since they said it had nothing to do with steroids.
The doctor has flat out said and repeated that there are no tests to determine that steroids caused the deaths. he also stated that even though the numbers were higher than for normal people, they were THERAPEUTIC levels, not performance. He had suffered from LOW Testosterone for years having depleted his normal levels from earlier steroid abuse. His was to level him off and was therapeutic. Sadly, we will never know the truth.
Report correctly TMZ!!! The only steroid was TESTOSTERONE and not at an unusual level! Why not report that Nancy had higher levels of Xanax, Delaudan, and Loratab in her system as well? You are selectively reporting just like other media outlets. Report the whole truth not just what you want to use to justify your accusations of roid rage.
This is a sad story TMZ staffers. It is wrong to exploit pictures of this man's dead son on the internet to get more internet hits..
