48. I pray that this family did not die in vain. Hopefully this tragedy will open up the eyes of all the other athletes out there who think that steroid use is safe. It's not, and Chris Benoit is an example of just how messed up you can become. Its not worth losing your life or those you love!!

49. He was a sick man yes but his actions may have been caused by steriod use which is know for effecting the brain and behavior. I hope God Blesses and forgives him and his little family and that people all over the world ban the use of steriods for sports figures and those that sold him them illegally go to jail.

My comments whether you agree or NOT is what it is. Boo hoo so the man had mental health issues or whatever. NOT everyone with mental health issues KILLS OFF THEIR WIFE & CHILD! Regardless if the man needed help or not his act was purely EVIL and yes he has had to answer to his MAKER. What he did was PREMEDITATED and purely SINISTER. So yeah, I said what I said and it's a little too l late for the CARE BEAR WAGONS to come and help this sick individual. HE MURDERED HIS FAMILY plain and simple whether he needed help or not and I don't feel one least bit of regret for what I said. If anything I feel sorry for his loved ones that have to carry this burden and shame that he has put upon them.

And for those that have said hateful and hurtful comments about the looks of this poor little child SHAME ON YOU!

52. Are all of you incredibly stupid? He was being treated for mental disorders and had a history of steriod use. I work in the mental health field and i can tell you that not all people can control themselves when fits occure or severe depression hits. Have spme pity for the whole family who are dead. People judge too much before they have all the facts. God bless him his wife and his child may then rest in peace. The rest of you get some feelings you do not know what goes on i the tortured brains of the mentally depressed.

EVERYONE!!.. There were NO Steroids or "Roid Rage"

The press conference has concluded and the results are in for the Benoit family toxicology reports. Georgia Chief Medical Examiner Kriss Sperry gave the details. First, a few hilights:

- All 3 of them had the anti-anxiety drug Xanex in their system . It was concluded that Deniel Benoit was sedated by the drug before his death.

- There were NO anabolic steroids found in Chris Benoit. He had elevated testosterone levels but that could be a result of many things. There was NO ROID RAGE.

Here is the full breakdown of the press conference and the toxicology findings:

Nancy Benoit had 3 different drugs in her system at the time of death. Hydrocodone (also known as Mortab, Morset) were found at 120 micrograms per liter. Hydromorphone, directly from the breakdown of the Hydrocodone, was also found. Finally, the anti-anxiety drug Xanex wss present at 23 micrograms per liter. All 3 drugs were found at the theraputic level - not toxic levels. Her blood alcohol level was 0.184.

Daniel Benoit's blood tested positive for Xanex at 100 micrograms per liter, which is an elevated. What is interesting about this fact is that the drug Xanex was not prescribed to Daniel and is typically not prescribed to children. Based upon this finding, it is their opinion that Daniel was sedated by Xanex at the time of his murder.

Chris Benoit tested positive for Xanex at 50 micrograms per liter. He also tested positive for Hydrocodone at 45 micrograms per liter. Both of these drugs were within the therapeutic range and not toxic.

As far as steroids ..... Chris Benoit's urine tested positive for the "steroid" testosterone at 207 micrograms per liter. The elevated level of testosterone his urine were the ONLY "steroids" present in Chris Benoit. No anabolic steroids were found.

Testosterone is found in everyone - in much higher levels in men than women. The medical examiner concluded that there is no way of telling whether Benoit's elevated testosterone was a result of recent steroid use. He called it a "mystery" - but said that Benoit may have been treated for a testosterone deficiency - a side effect of past steroid abuse.

The drug GHB was not found in any 3 of the individuals.

There is NO indication that ANYTHING found in Chris Benoit's system directly contributed to his violent behavior that weekend. THERE WAS NO ROID RAGE.

The drugs found in all 3 bodies were at therapeutic - NOT toxic levels. The medical examiner also said that the decomposition of the bodies may have affected the level of alcohol in Nancy's body.

Well said. I agree with you. The brain is part of the body, and like every other part of the body it gets sick too. Mental health issues cause people to be unstable, and not in a coherent mind....which leads to doing things you would not do in your "right mind" like kill your family. Why do you think its called crazy?
That man's mind was sick. As far as showing the little boys picture, whats the problem with that? What, should he just be erased like he never was. Upon the death of a love one what do you ass wipes do? Burn all pictures and memories of them? Give me a break.

58. what a tragic story i dont think it was steroids as much as the other drugs sounds like everyone but the little boy was on drugs . I think chris benoit although supposedly fairly tough had a little mans complex he was a little fellow height wise i think legitamately about 5f7 or maybe 8 at the most near midget level maybe he had a short mans complex napolean complex im about 6ft3 i always kinda thought those little fellas like him always were trying to be big but my heart breaks for that little boy jesus is holding him close i think nancy and chris were drug addicts such a tragedy and a shaw pt barnum will have hiss wwe circus running buisness as usual pro wrestling has become so silly its pathetic benoit must have been a miserable little fellow .
