26. When Denver/ Hollywood tycoon Marvin Davis died in 2005, Forbes clocked him as the 30th-richest person in America with $5.8 billion, much of it held by his kids' Davis Family Trusts. Eldest daughter Patricia Davis Raynes, 53, spent most of her adult life asking Daddy, "Where's my money?"

A year after Marvin's death, she's taking a more muscular approach. Last month, Patricia filed a 169-page lawsuit against her mother, brothers and her father's top executives. To lead the charge, she hired New York's elite Boies, Schiller & Flexner firm. (Founder David Boies is famous for his eviscerating examination of Bill Gates in U.S. vs. Microsoft.)

BREAKING SEAL ON DAVIS BILLIONS: Dallas writer Mark Seal has pulled back the veil cloaking the tattered fortunes of Marvin Davis for the November issue of Vanity Fair. The 300-pound-plus mogul once owned 20th Century Fox, Aspen Skiing Corp. and the Pebble Beach golf resort.

According to the lawsuit, he repeatedly assured Patricia that she was worth $300 million. But when she asked for access to the money in 2002, he offered to buy her out of her trust for $10 million. In retrospect, she should have grabbed it. Within days of Marvin's death, Patricia's mother told her, "You're poor, Patty. You're poor ..." adding that there was "no money."

MARVIN LARGER THAN LIFE: Mark, who has a second home in Aspen, once interviewed Marvin in 2000 for Golf Digest. "You went into the futuristic L.A. skyscraper from Die Hard, where Bruce Willis saved Los Angeles," Mark says from his Dallas home. "Then you were ushered past two secretaries and into an enormous peach-hued office, where Marvin sat on a pedestal above you. His desk was a replica of Blake Carrington's from Dynasty , a character said to be inspired by Davis."

Patricia's suit states, "Marvin had left nothing in his will. The next day, Patricia's brother John and sister Dana spoke to Patricia privately, informing her of what they had known for a long time: Marvin had looted the trusts and had spent hundreds of millions of dollars that did not belong to him."

Lawyers for the family told Vanity Fair that the family was confident that "Patty's lawsuit will be shown to have no merit." When asked if there really is nothing left of Davis' estate, the lawyer said, "If that was the case, then one would have to ask why Patty would file the lawsuit."

A "friend" of the Davis family blamed Patty for her financial woes. "All of her siblings have long been gainfully employed — in businesses or running charities. Patty rides horses. She's received tens of millions of dollars, had an airplane, homes in the Hamptons, Palm Beach, Aspen and a $14 million apartment in New York," said the friend.

Evidently when your name is Davis, $10 million in hand is worth $300 million in the bush. (Or the trust). So perhaps Brandon Davis had better keep his mouth shut about a certain person's bush. Or she'll own the studio one day his grandfather used to (20th Century Fox) and sue him for all he's worth. Probably, somewhat less than $7 million

The family matriarch Barbara Davis sold her mansion, The Knoll, in Beverly Hills and she's now living in a rental in Coldwater Canyon. Her daughter Nancy - Brandon Davis's mother- was also forced to sell her Bel Air home and she downsized. Brandon doesn't drive and he no longer has limos every night...

His family may be mad at him... But the whole family is having financial Problems

I guess grandpa marvin was having financial problems in 2002, since he manipulating his daughter out of her trust fund.. That was supposedly 300 million..
Now, Nancy and Brandon have to downsize their living arrangements..

Sounds like a real nightmare.. He should of went to college or something when the money was there.. But, he still could.. Anyone every heard of student loans..
