It doesn't hurt me at all...But tell me this...if you went to school with him can you shed light on what the "Dog Pound" was and why they were so happy about the confederate flag, why Taylor and his redneck buddies always hung out in the parking lot of Green Valley Drugs getting drunk on weekends and harrassing people who were open minded and didn't have a problem with blacks. Can you tell me that you were there when he performed at the HHS theater (Ms. Taylors) with Brett E. on bass, and Mr. Chapman (computer teacher on guitar)

If you graduated with us, can you tell me the significance of the Ketchup packets given to the principal as we each received our diplomas. Do these names ring any bells, Reagan, Iowa, Brett, Michael, Sissy, McKensie, Kevin (helena cop now I believe)

What was the gravel pit at Berry???

Was it David or Taylor Hicks that had his bright yellow vintage truck with flames stolen from the pit.

First, this is not a "book review." Check it out yourself. TMZ says that the book contains the Eminem comment, and that the book is 272 pages. In fact Eminem is not mentioned in Heart Full of Soul. And the book, including index, is 264 pages. TMZ's comments on the book are based on the pre-release publicity from Random House - which DOES contain the Eminem quote, and says the book is 272 pages.

Second, TMZ has absolutely NO FEELING, positive or negative, about Taylor Hicks, or about his music, or about the new book. That's right: NO feeling. Nor should it have. TMZ is a business motivated by one thing: generating sustained profitability. TMZ features articles that slash Hicks for one reason, and one reason only, and it's not personal. It is because these articles generate massive #'s of hits to their site for days, weeks on end. Then these articles generate comments, and retaliatory comments, and then countless hits as people return to check reaction to their comments, reply again, and so on. All of this attracts ADVERTISERS. And TMZ's profits depend attracting ADVERTISERS.

That's it. That's all there is to it. As long as you read and comment and come back to read and/or comment some more, you will guarantee that TMZ will continue to throw up nasty and unsubstantiated bile about your boy.

Best thing Hicks fans can do? Spread this message. Don't take the TMZ bait. Because when you do bite into that big worm, you guarantee more of the same.

95. Homer, I believe you because I've seen the reports of how he interacts with fans. He's generally aloof and avoids them. At his book signings he boredly signs his books without even looking up at the person he's signing for. You said his fans are 12 year-olds and soccer moms. I'd say they're nothing but soccer moms. The crazier ones act like 12-year olds at his concert, make home-made t-shirts with glitter paint, and throw their underwear at him. No wonder he wants to avoid them. But the rest of the world has forgotten Taylor Hicks. We all know the real winner of American Idol 5 is triple-platinum selling Chris Daughtry. He can sell out a large venue in minutes all around the country. Before long, Taylor will be back playing at those dive-bars in Birmingham.

98. Yeah#69 (TaylorRocks) he spray paints hishair- his roots are black. He forgot to do so in
his beach photo when he was with his beard. Need to face up to the facts that he
can't sing nor can he write for that matter. He can't even use proper words. His 15 minutes
are just about up thank goodness!

100. To comment #92, what have you done in your life to make it successful ? Taylor is a successful musician who has done so much for so many people and charities including Red Cross and Cancer patients. His story is an inspiration to many people who want to accomplish their dreams. He is a true American Idol. You have no clue what you are even talking about....Does your little putdown increase your self worth a few notches ? What a sad sad life you lead...Good luck on your success...

103. Just interested #89 to know how you arrived at the calculation that Daughtry was the real winner of AI 5? I watched the whole season and Daughtry left @ #4! At that point he was not even in the running to win, let alone beat Taylor Hicks. Either you need to take a refresher course in math or get over the FACT that 60 something million votes made Taylor Hicks the American Idol and those same people eliminated Daughtry 3 weeks before that! Do the math, get over it and go to your rock concert to support your rocker.

104. At the mid way point of the year, the #1 selling CD in ALL genres was Daughtry. He outsold every single other CD out this year. Over 3 million. That's triple platinum, in case you're wondering. He and his band are touring to sold out shows to over 25,000+ while Taylor is playing to shows of 5,000 or less and THOSE are completely sponsored by AI while Chris' are not.
Chris has had two #1 songs this year and Taylor's highest rated song was ....not even close.
The real winner, like it or not...was NOT Taylor.
Sure, a few hundred thousand people voted for him over and over again but clearly as a joke. (laughing)

REALITY CHECK : Chris went home 4th place which means 3 people had more votes than him..Record sales don't mean he is better than anybody, Milli Vanilli sold millions of albums and look what happened..Don't get too uppity..Taylor is going to be around for a long time..Go support your fav and keep your nastiness to yourself.
