Nick Nolte Crashes in Hawaiian Airport

Dripping in sweat and barely able to keep his bloodshot eyes open, a handlebar-mustached Nick Nolte stunned travelers at the Kauai Airport this week -- by passing out cold on the terminal floor!

TMZ obtained these photos taken by one of Nolte's fellow passengers, who told us that the incoherent actor drifted in and out of consciousness on the airport floor for more than two hours Monday night, after their flight was delayed because of engine problems.

According to the source, Nolte was still extremely friendly despite his groggy state -- chatting celeb mugshots -- click to launchwith fans and allowing passengers to snap photos, however, he wasn't entirely functional. "At one point we helped him put a dollar in the vending machine."

Calls to Nolte's rep were not immediately returned.

16. The toughest thing about killing time in that particular airport, believe me, is NOT drinking til you pass out.

24. Something is seriously wrong when a person can drift in and out of consciousness for nearly 2 hours on the floor and no one calls security or an ambulance or 911. I find this dispicable. Even if the guy is drunk the decent thing to do is remove him from public viewing.

28. Poor human beeing.
We build them up in America, than we have FUN tearing them down that seems to be the american past time with celebreties. I will leave this poor soul alone who lost his
way, its sad for anybody to be so weak and hit rock bottom. He is probably very loney and besides the drinks , has no friends anymore. The fame left, so do people. In this country,

30. Maybe one of those jerks at the airport who had nothing to do waiting for the plane should of called a doctor or hospital. That includes the idiot WHO CLAIMED he had to get a plane (But stepped over him) and that it was funny. I don't think anyone who gets that bad (nick) really knows what he is doing. What ISN'T funny is did the airline let him get on the plane-I thought the airlines have this policy now. I MEAN THEY THREW OFFTHAT WOMAN & HER BABY A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO.
