61. First of all, he wasn't alone the whole time, there was some pitiful woman trying to hit on him for about an hour. Also, perhaps these photos will help him to finally reach his bottom and he will start working a proper 12 step program! As someone who has been through it, tough love is the only way to get through to people with this disease sometimes.

64. this is not funny at all , he could be so much more, i hate to see people laughing at a drunk on the floor because i used to have some in my family doing that and it wasnt one bit funny . i hope he gets some help. imagine little kids having to see that . . yuck , im sure he smelled real good to sit next on the plane also . but i guess in this country its funny to see a celebrity fall on their faces then we dont feel so bad about ourselves

70. I find it all terribly sad, not just Nick Nolte, but the millions of people who have destroyed their lives, families, careers, and so much more because they cannot conquer their addictions. When people are this sick, everyone in their midst is affected. I don't know why so many of these posts have "LOL" in them. What the hell is funny?

71. wow..... This is utterly disgusting. The man was slipping in and out of consciousness for two hours and all that anyone does is Sit there and Laugh? Oh thats right , they were also able to take pictures and sell them to the media.. Thats a great help. Shame on everyone who did nothing to help, and shame on the vultures who were picking at his bones when he was down ,you are pathetic. If someone in your family was in this position would you do the same? If this was your father, brother or son? He needed help and was instead treated to mockery ....... wow..... tragic

73. I feel bad for Nick, who obviously hasn't hit rock bottom and gotten completely disgusted with himself. I'm wondering if there is hope for him at his age, or if he'll just continue to drink. What a waste, he's a great actor and probably a nice person. It's just kind of demeaning to him to be in that condition in public.
