77. Oh Please!! Doesn't he have any family that cares a rats ass?? This is sooooooo damn pitiful. The guy needs some serious intervention here. Hello Nolte family...are you out there? He needs help...you all should be ashamed of yourselves. Get involved...if by court order, get the guy into rehab, AA, and be there for him. He is so talented..I feel so bad for him. Like many others, I wish I could reach out to him. There are so many roles out there for you yet..please get clean, and sober. You are truly a brilliant actor, and I for one want more. We all appease our own personal demons in various ways. We all need someone or something to fall back on in life's trying times. If you didn't have a religious upbringing, maybe now is the time to find that stability and security you obviously are in such desperate need of. Pick yourself up, get yourself straight, find God and all of your problems will fall away. Love you Nick...been a fan of yours since Rich Man Poor Man.

78. actors are nothing special. don't feel bad for him,he's led a nice pampered life,with people telling him what great "work" he does. They are court jesters,existing only to entertain the people with real jobs,the ones that run things. Make Nick Nolte get a real job,see how long he lasts.what they all do is not important

84. I have no doubt that the guy is either drunk or high on something, but additionally he doesn't look to me to be in good health. Look at his face! The body can only take abuse for so long, then parts (heart, liver) don't work so well.

Instead of laughing and taking pictures, someone should have called for medical assistance. I knew a guy who was an alcholic and basically drank his way to a heart attack and died. He was about the same age, and his face looked just like that.

85. The sorriest aspect of this, after the fact that he's such an uncontrolled lush, is that he doesn't have enough pride to not be seen like that in public. It's a shame, he's a great talent, and he's also a unique individual who listens to his own weirdly wired thought processes and doesn't give a damn if you think he's some kind of alien life form.

86. I, for one, hope he's not diabetic and wasn't extremely hypoglycemic while everyone watched, took pictures, and laughed.

He could have been experiencing a drug interaction, a stroke, any number of medical emergencies.

Anyone lapsing in and out of consciousness should be evaluated by trained medical personnel, regardless of why you THINK they are acting that way, because you really never know.

89. Ahhhh, man-- this is just sad, any way you look at it. Even if he won a Nobel Prize, that mugshot would follow him the rest of his life, and now this. He's such a great actor (when he's not on the sauce). I hope he can find the help he needs-- he deserves better than to be a public laughingstock.

90. He probably spent his vacation in the Kalalau Valley with the rest of the drugged up hippies prior to passing out at the Lihue Airport.

No doubt Nick was also hanging out in Wainiha as well.
