Paula's Not Drunk -- Just Adorable?!

While Paula Abdul's intoxicating brand of incoherence has many, including David Letterman, questioning her sobriety, the tragically delicious "American Idol" trainwreck told the "Late Show" host that the reason people think she's always drunk is because of her "adorable personality." Slurring is so cute!

After Paula told David how endearing she is, the 45-year-old added, "Wouldn't you want me around 24/7?" Like a hangover that just won't go away!

Paula claims she's never been drunk. Insane -- that's an entirely different story!

91. If you remember people made fun of Dudley Moore for years accusing him of being drunk when the whole time he was suffering was a horrible disorder that eventually took his life. People should pay more attention to there own lives instead of making accusations that they cant prove to be true!!!!!!!!!

92. Paula isn't so nice. She actually works 24-7 which makes her dingy & bitchey, throws fits when she doesn't get her way, treats people like crap. When she acts the fool, it's not her fault...someone else screwed up, not sweet Paula

93. She is SO obviously on something. And she makes a point of saying she has never been drunk or done drrr, I mean "recreational" drugs. I'm guessing TrimSpa and Vicodin.

98. Paula is a sad case of the DENIALS. First, she claims to dislike Simon, when everyone can see she has the hots for him. She has never given an interview without talking about how she "hates" him. Next, she can't keep her hands off him. Her behavior is that of a "stoned" teenager with a crush. Since Amy Winbush won't go, maybe Paula will go to REHAB.

I am not a fan of Paula's by any means - but I wonder if something is truly wrong with her - if you remember actor Dudley Moore - he slurred his speech often and everyone assumed he was drunk - it came out years and years later that he had serious medical condtion called progressive supranuclear palsy, for which there is no cure- actually people assumed the same thing of michael j fox before he came out with the fact that he had parkinsons. Im hoping she is only a lush and isnt suffering from something more serious that she isnt ready to tell the world about yet.

100. I saw Hey Paula on Bravo, and omg she has more emotional break downs than a woman on PMS with Menopause. All through the show, she keeps constantly crying and whining.

101. It is very sad but true, that these days we watch Paula just to see her crazy behavior.How boring would it be to watch her just being her "sweet self" all the time. It just makes me sick that no one in her life is helping her. I guess to recieve a paycheck, enabeling works for them. I cannot believe that anyone really things we are all falling for the cover-up excuses they give. What is gonna be the excuse when she dies? They will say "we didn't know"!!!The whole world knows but not the people that are closest to her, Yaa right...........Great show idea----PAULA TELLS THE TRUTH!!!!

102. Paula is in the twilight of her "career" and possibly of her life, sadly. Whatever the truth of her condition, she is not well. She does not need to have cameras following her personal life recording for posterity a futile attempt to project positive energy, vitality, and fulfillment. A number of posters and critics have noted that nothing about the thin verneer of glamour that Paula wraps about herself makes people envy her life. She comes across as an effete Hollywood has-been consumed by a vacuous emotional emptiness that no amount of money, fame, or beauty can placate. This pain must drive the other intoxicating behaviours. Perhaps the most compassionate response is to support her in recovery, not brush aside the flashing neon warning signs of danger in the present by making excuses for her. That plus prayer.
