81. valerie-- i don't know if you read these things... but just in case... i wanted to tell you that we are same age and i too needed to lose 30 pounds. i saw your magazine cover at airport back in mar/apr. it inspired me to join your challenge. i am down 17 pounds and only time stands in my way to lose the last 13. alas losing the weight takes time, but any faster it would come right back on. no diet or magic pill can replace heathy eating habits and an active lifestyle. keep up the good work! hopefully i will be at my goal by september! :) btw-- give bikram's yoga a try... it really works!

82. I think she looks like a normal 47-year old woman. Does anyone really buy the images of 40-something women with bodies like 25-year olds?? It ain't normal or natural. She is trying to lose the extra weight, and good for her, but she looks just fine to me.
