123. Good for her. I would much rather see someone "Normal" for a change instead of all these so called actresses 'buying' better figures by all this lipo and plastic surgery. So everyone isn't stick thin.. that's life. I say bring back some more natural looking actresses who can really act instead of just look plastic or trashy. Kirstie is still fat and I would like to see Val take completely over as the spokes model for Jenny Craig. Kirstie is faking it with touched up photos. Kirstie is still a fatty BUT Val is really working on it and I read that she isn't taking it to the extreme to get bony. She is just getting back to average... GO AVERAGE!!!!

128. Valerie is having the last laugh at all the losers picking on her very normal and healthy 48 year old body all the way to the bank. You losers are probably still hanging out with the "high school crowd" at the local pub or perhaps you're just too young and immature yet. Whatever, she looks great for a mother at 48! I'd like to see what your mothers would look like in a bathing suite!

129. she looks very good,,,, she has nice muscle tone and her skin looks healthy... she is losing it slowly and I hope she sticks to that type of program... nothing worse than 40 yr old women losing too much weight too fast, looking like anorexic, dried up husks.... photos add 10 pounds anyway, so she probably looks much better in person... she deserves support and respect, she doesn't seem like a fake moron like most of the Hollyweird bimbos and bimbettes.

133. I agree see is a bit overweight, but she is not more overweight than the average American woman. I rather look at her, even with the extra weight, than at many younger, skinny but unpleasant and selfish starlets. So what if she is a bit big - overeating not good, but it is still not as unhealthy (or anti-social, or even dangerous) as drinking too much or doing drugs. And she wears a tastefull bathing suit covering her tummy, it's not as if the flab is all over the place or that she shoves it in your face - she is at the beach with her child. I don't think the kid should miss out on a beach vacation just because his mum is a few kilo's overweight. If you don't like is, look the other way.
[Like I do whenever a photo of Tara Reid stomach appears ont he net ;) ]
Anyway, she still has a gorgeous face, comes a across a an easy going person and a good mom and she is classy, too, never saying anything nasty about her ex-husband (unlike some other divorcees). I think that's why so many people commenting here are on her side: they just like her for who she is, and whether she is slim or chubby makes no difference in how she is perceived. I hope she is above all the nasty comments some gossip magazines, blogs and bloggers make about her weight. Anyway, it looks like most comments here a supportive of her efforts to get slim - that's great.

134. For all the people (and I'd assume you're of the Y generation) who are trashing her, you are insensitive idiots. Valerie is now and has always been a beautiful woman. When I was a teenager, all of the girls wanted to look like her and all the guys had a crush on her. She is a level headed...and STILL fresh faced beauty. Let me tell all of you young people something...when you hit your mid-40s, it's H-A-R-D to keep that 20 year old body, whether you have been naturally fit and slim your whole life. I wish her all the best....
