Lindsay Lohan Officially Booked

In one of the most under the radar moves she's ever made, Lindsay Lohan quietly walked into the Beverly Hills PD station late Thursday afternoon to be officially arrested for her May DUI.

According to the official Los Angeles Sheriff's Department website, Lohan was held in custody for about an hour around 4:00 PM, until she was released on her own recognizance -- routine for a first time DUI offender. Police sources tell TMZ that Lohan was "very pleasant and cooperative."

Lohan was charged with driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 and misdemeanor hit and run, this according to the Beverly Hills PD. Sources close to the case tell TMZ that this was simply a routine process, as often times people arrested for driving under the influence are simply cited and released.

For now, Lohan is scheduled to be back in court on August 24.

61. She was in for just an HOUR! Must be nice. My friend turned herself in for not paying a traffic violation (yes, she had a warrant for her arrest for an expired tag) and she was in for 6 hours!

I don't want to hear these rich bitches whine about their problems when they know damn well that they get preferencial treatment!

63. Heu you all know that if the judge sets bond at 30,000 they only have to post 3000 to get out. 10 % is all that is required. Should have made it higher. Hit em where it hurts. Their checkbook!

64. Sad. We see all these beautiful talents in mug shots. I hope that she does some big time community service such as a homeless shelter, food bank, church, children with HIV. It will teach her about reality.

66. It was NOT A ROUTINE DUI she left the scene of an accident and they found drugs in her car she needs to go to jail perhaps she is wearing the ankle braclet to look good in the eyes of her judge and be granted time served???????

Those of you delusional fans she is not a "nice young lady" she is a rotten slut and the only reason she stoped partying is because she got caught i dont believe she is serious about recovery more likley it has something to do with sentencing id rather take a month or whatever it was in a cushy rehab than a week in jail anytime.......................She looks liek a burt out ol whore

71. Um, it's not routine for someone who was UNDER AGE at the time of their DUI to just be let off with a slap on the wrist (which is unfortunately what that sum of money to this girl).

The $30,000 was not just for a DUI. The judge is letting her know that her behavior is unacceptable on all levels. She paid her way out of the first DUI and this one she is not getting out of. The minute she is released from rehab she immediately flies to LAS VEGAS to party and celebrate her 21st birthday....

HER MOVIE WAS PULLED AND SHE WAS CANNED....THE JUDGE IS ECHOING THAT SAME SENTIMENT....

HER BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED....

73. This story makes absolutely no sense and needs to be clarified by TMZ. You can't have bail set at $30,000 AND be released on your own recognizance, it's either one or the other. Which one is the truth?

My personal opinion is that since she is so high profile, not a flight risk, and a first time offender she probably was released on an OR bond. $30,000 bail would be extremely high, for a DUI, that amount is what people facing manslaughter charges and other more serious crimes usually get.

74. Wait are they charging her with a hit and run when she crashed the car into the curb and shrubs? I don't quite get that....if I was in a car wreck, and needed to go to the hospital, and someone was gonna take me...is that wrong? Now she has gone out of control, drinking & drugs...one should never get behind the wheel of a car, She could have killed someone or injured them really bad....I hope she gets out of that crowd....

75. The story also does not mention whether the supposed $30,000 was a 10% bond or a "straight" $30,000 bond. There's a big difference between those 2 types of bonds and an even bigger difference with a OR bond.
