96. I had a friend, a very fine and dedicated police officer named Gary Davis in Michigan who was killed in the line of duty by a drunk driver. Driving under the influence kills people and devistates the people who love them. If you are caught driving drunk or on drugs you should receive a prison sentence. I don't care if you are rich, poor, pregnant, rehabed or whatever - you should serve time. There should laws in place that says that money cannot "buy" your way out of the situation. This grown woman (she's 21 now) needs to learn her lesson - she's no different than the rest of us tax-paying Americans. In fact, most of us are better than her - we actually contribute something meaningful to society.
