31. Britney's time as a pop star has passed. If she thinks she's going to have a career like Madonna's she's mistaken - she doesn't have the smarts or the talent to reinvent herself time after time. As talented as Elvis was, he too became a has-been. This is the way it has historically worked - just ask people like David & Shaun Cassidy, Paul Anka, Donny Osmond, The Supremes, etc. etc. etc..... She should fade quietly into the sunset and focus on raising her boys.

I cannot believe that girl (she's a woman but acts like an immature girl) is a multi-millionaire ... she should look very polished and fashionable - instead she looks like she buys all her clothes at the thrift shop. She looks cheap, dirty and trampy.

Advice: get rid of the weave. You'd actually look cute in a short, sassy haircut.
- You'll get fat eating takeout and at restaurants all the time. Do you ever cook meals at home?
- Stop smoking - that REALLY ages you quickly; you'll die from it; it's a bad example for your kids; you stink all the time.
- reconcile with the most important people in your life - your family. As a mother you should now realize that a mother LOVES her kids for ever, likewise her grandkids. Let your mom into her grandkids lives - they will benefit greatly from it.
- get busy doing some good for this world - you have the resources, go for it. You'll redeem yourself in the eyes of everyone.

38. Studio work is one thing but workin' it after release of the studio album and video promo is another. I will be convinced that she is really back to work when Brit's "Get Back" workin' it begins. A live tour in support of her new album will be the real work.

39. Shoot, thanks, TMZ, for all the Britney stories. I had kinda forgotten about her but now I'm going to go join her official FAN CLUB. I never have wanted to before, but you've done a good job publicizing her and now I might even buy my first Britney album! Seriously.

Reading all these ridiculous stories you have printed, all the slander, just makes me feel very interested and protective about little Britney, so I think I'll put my dollars there.

40. Whoever said "she will make the greatest come back in pop history", keep smoking the wakky bakky!

Pink Floyd made the biggest comeback in history. They were written off without founding member/bass player/singer/lyricist Roger Waters whom broke up PF in 1983 due to his egomania. Then when guitarist/singer David Gilmour, drummer Nick Mason and returning original member keyboard player Rick Wright (whom was fired by Roger in 1979) released A Momentary Lapse of Reason in September of 1987, no one expected the album to do well. The first shows without Waters were in 20,000 to 50,000 seat venues. The album sold 4 million copies Stateside and peaked at #3 and proved that Pink Floyd was not The Roger Waters Band but a group of talented musicians and songwriters who didn't need either MTV or press to sell records.

Britney, on the other hand, will wind up DEAD ON ARRIVAL with her new album. She looks like she is 45 not 25 and her voice is shot to Hell from the smoking and snorting and boozing! She will wind up dead in the next year or so! Goodbye b*tch!

Difference was Debbie Gibson WROTE and PERFORMED her own music and decided to change her name to Deborah Gibson and her career went to Broadway. Also, Gibson is a teetotaler whilst Britney is like Tiffany. Tiffany had to do Playboy to keep her name alive.

43. actually, pink floyd could be compared to Britney, in a way, because did the lead singer become mentally ill too? and then he got cured and performed again successfully. so there is hope for Britney's comeback, even though she is more commercial artistically then PF. but she is sick, folks. she needs help, not to be cavorting all over, without treatment.

Debbie Gibson is an accomplished Broadway actress who got to that point by being a famous child star with an amazing voice and song writing ability. She never went around displaying her private parts, never passed out in public, didn't get married in Vegas for 52 hours, didn't marry a money hungry back up dancer who already had knocked up someone else not once, but twice; and I might add while she isn't the best dresser, she sure has a better sense of style than Ms. Spears has. Hell, anyone has a better sense of style than Britney has. Britney is a train wreck. There is something mentally off with her. No one just rips of their clothing in the middle of the day, in public, with the photogs right up their ass and runs into the water with near transparant panties on. She is nuts. I truly hope that the VMA's will be taped before they go on television. If it is a live show, God help us all. I can't imagine anyone wanting to seriously hiring Britney to do anything unless they really want the publicity because THEY KNOW she is going to do something totally off the wall because she has TOTALLY LOST HER MIND.
