17. Could Cruise be anymore annoying? If Posh and Beckham are set on becoming famous in America they sure picked the wrong people to fund their PR campaign. Please everyone ignore the Beckhams, maybe they'll go back to the UK. (A friend of mine who lives in England says they aren't much liked at home either.)

19. Don't worry, #27, no one is going to bother seeing a Tom Cruise movie, it will be a big flop. Eventually, Tom will get the message and the Cruise space alien fam will pack it up and flee to England with the Beckham space cadets, where fugly Victoria will spend the rest of her silly life doing underwear ads for Knickers R Us, and the Katie-thing will be put to use as Victoria's happy little assistant. Oh, come on, TMZ. What's with the 'Tiny Tom Cruise' comment. Tom Cruise is short; SO WHAT!!!!!!!

So is Brad Pitt, Kevin Bacon and a LOT of other actors. Why is Tom Cruise always singled out for the 'short jokes'?

To Poster 24 (DANI), I live in Hollywood and have seen Cruise out and about with 6 foot bodyguards. If Tom Cruise were as sensitive about his height as some of you seem to think, he certainly wouldn't pick women taller than himself to marry.

24. I think if the family of the Count, and the German Government are both opposed to shooting this movie in Germany with Tom Cruse, they should not do it. This is a dishonor to the memory of a man that put his life on the line to save Germany from a cruel dictator, and this is the wrong way to approach the subject. I have no problem particularly with Tom Cruse or his beliefs, but for the whole story to be told, and to honor those who gave their lives to stop the madman, the participation of the family and the use of the actual locations are important. Better not to tell the story than to do it badly.

25. As an ex-Scientologist, I can assure you that Cruise is being watched constantly by his Scientology handlers. He has not been himself (or free) for a long time now. You would not believe the amount of $$$$ he gives to this vicious cult, so that the top leaders can live in luxury. I truly truly feel bad for him. He literally does not know what he is doing.

26. Free at last: There's some interesting discussions on the Scientology forum at Topix. You would bring a unique viewpoint, if you ever want to pop in.
I agree with what you said about Cruise. Right now he and Scientology are trying desperately to recruit the Beckhams. It will be interesting to see if they manage to stay out of this dangerous cult. Hopefully they'll realize joining Scientology doesn't do much for one's popularity or reputation.

I give Tom Cruise credit for losing some weight for his movie role. He looked ridiculous chubby few weeks ago. Britney should take some notes. It's part of the job.

30. To Kat - Yes, everyone is entitled to their religion, but there is one important fact that you are forgeting. Scientology is NOT a religion, it is a CULT. There is a difference. All Tom and Katie and all the other brainwashed dummies are, is robots, but hey, if they are stupid enough to willingly give all their money to the cult leaders, then they deserve everything they get, good or bad. Hopefully, some day, he will grow a brain, or at least a set of balls.
