2 more people died in Australia last week because a young woman's family urged her to stop her anti-psychotic medication. Why, you ask? Because her family are $cientologists. Just recently the "leader" of the cult of greed again called for the elimination of all psychiatry. Apparently he wants the gullible to believe $cientology has a cure for mental illness. Interesting theory in that PEOPLE KEEP DYING with their "cure".

38. #28 - Kat: Everybody has a right to practice their religion, but Scientology is a cult. I was in their fangs while being underage and experienced how they would brainwash their victims and extort as much money out of them as possible. Only by filing several lawsuits my relatives could get me out of there.

$cientology is NOT a religion. It IS a business, a theiving, stalking, harassing business.
I have the utmost respect for anyone brave enough to criticize the cult of greed. You might see things a little differently if you had a relative die after being held for 17 days by $cientologists. as Lisa McPherson did. 2 more people died last week due to $cientology's stance on all psychiatry being evil, what do you say about that? Or maybe you can give us your thoughts on Pauleete Cooper, a woman $cientology tried to set up for a crime she didn't commit. Or maybe the elderly widow conned into signing her house over to CoS? Or the largest infilltration of government offices in the history of the U.S. by.........$cientology.

45. Religion is one's preference -- if we can even refer to Scientology as a religion. I am a loyal Tom Cruise fan, but not one of Scientology. The difference is that I can separate the two.

Cruise will never be a joke in Hollywood, and I hope his critics stop badgering him because of Scientology beliefs. Without sounding judgemental, I also hope that Tom leaves this "church" some day. I suspect that it uses him far more than he realizes.
