If you're green and a Democrat, you should be paid minimum wage only? Just because he gets paid $100,00 for speaking doesn't subtract from the importance of what he is saying. Is having incidentals of $1,000 a day a big issue? No - when your the former VP, you have to pay for extra security. Have anything to do with being green? NO Again! Controlling your image, and press, photos, video, etc is all part of the STANDARD speaking contract that any prominent speakers requirements.
