Plinko lovers, take heart -- Drew Carey takes his game playing very seriously.

The bespectacled comedian has been telling friends that part of the reason he took the job as host of the prime time game show "Power of Ten" was because tapings fit around the L.A. Galaxy's soccer game schedule, and Drew is a major fan.

The same goes for his new gig as the host of "The Price is Right," which conveniently won't conflict with Carey's game goals, and he'll still be able to, er, come on down. The future Bob Barker hardly seems like the athletic type, but he's actually been a longtime Galaxy groupie. He's even got his very own luxe box at the Galaxy's Home Depot Center stadium. Game on!

21. Drew Carey did a show for the Travel channel where he followed the World Cup as a photographer. It was pretty good.

22. Drew Carey is funny as hell! I haven't watched it in a few years, but I will tune in to watch. Sure Drew is ripped with washboard abs, but have you ever heard that someone might be attractive by their, now get this...........Personality!!! Drew will do a wonderful job. Cleveland rocks!!!

25. Hardly seems like the athletic type? Actually back in the day, Drew Carey was a US Marine. He has been a great ambassador for US soccer. I wish him all the luck. And you are right, he is not the guy who will be on TMZ for getting drunk, smashing his car, or having a drug binge. He's one of the good guys, and I think TPIR well do well with him as host. They will need a substitute host during the world cup though!

29. Drew will be perfect for this! He will be sweet and kind to the contestants, while still being VERY hip and funny. And as to the comments about his looks, I think he's very good looking. But then I judge a person's appearance by his actions, not by the talent of a stylist, airbrush,and makeup artist.

30. Drew is annoying to look at. I SURE won't sit and look at him and listen to that voice for an hour. Adios Price s Right. No more for me. I'd rather look at that large blue eyeshadowed lady than him.
