47. People who left the negative comments are either evil..or just plain stupid and don't realize that addictions are illnesses that have so been deemed by insurance companies. Until you have had someone you dearly love suffer from an addiction...maybe you just will not get it. I am all for people with drug and alcohol addictions NOT being inprisoned by our current prison system. We need facilities that are strictly for drug and alcohol related crimes. They desperately need long term treatment...not inprisonment. God bless you Lindsey...those of us who are educated enough to understand your ILLNESS...are praying for your recovery. You can do it...hang in there baby..and pray..pray..pray. This is probably the most difficult thing you'll ever go through. And, yes, it is hereditary. Peace Out !

48. Since she wasn't ordered by the court to wear the bracelett there was nobody checking it. It was obvious. She was in a coke fueled rage trying to chase down some car while the driver of that car was calling the police in fear. Hopefully it wasn't Sheriff Lee Baca that arrested her. If PARIS did a month for just being pulled over Lohan needs way more time.

49. How about a rehab for 90 days, at LEAST, no special treatment to give Lohan the idea she is superiour to other addicts. Then get a court to rule she has to help others, preferably outside the U.S., where she has no celeb status.

She needs to cultivate empathy for others.

50. You people are absolutely dripping with compassion...really....it touches my heart. Sheesh...doesn't anyone ever think about there but for the grace of luck/god/fate go I? This person whether by her own design or the personal stress of her own life or by stupid mistakes now has a big addiction. It could happen to anyone but it is worse for her since she is under the scrutiny of the entire media circus. I wish nothing but good luck to her to break this addiction. Give the girl a break!

51. Yeah friggin' right. She looked high on 4th of July at the Malibu parties. AND to make matters worst, she was in the presence of her younger siblings. I just had another talk with my 9-year old and told her that Linsday Lohan was busted again and that she was high and drunk and driving. We both agreed that every Lindsay Lohan movie and any propaganda with Lindsay attached will be donated to the local library and/or taken to Goodwill.

Talk to your kids about this....don't let their friends talk to them about it. Explain what drugs and alcohol will do to you, your brain and your body and your future if you ever touch them.

Don't support the people who are involved in it or with it. This will send a message to Hollywood and these hip hop artists that they CANNOT and WILL not RAISE our kids. If you're associated, in any way, with drugs we won't purchase anything associated with you.

Hit them in the wallet!

No I don't need rehab, nor have I ever needed it. Oh like you never did anything STUPID as a kid?? yeah right... I do believe it's part of growing pains and being in the lime light..

Yeah she needs help, as I said before, but I also think this doesn't mean who she'll be 5 or 10 years from now... AS WE GROW, and if YOU EASY RIDER haven't grown in life,.. you need to work on it... She's a KID and kids do stupid crap, it's not like she's in her 30's ,... then this would be a whole other topic.

54. She's had her chances and blown them all; put her away. Normally, I am pretty lenient, but this girl is so totally whacked. She has major problems and needs intensive therapy, preferably in an institution.
Great role model for today's teens....not.

56. The only reason people are making a big deal out of this is because she's famous. My best friend has 4 DUI's, and has been in and out of rehab and he's not all over T.V. I give Lindsay props for being HUMAN! not one of the stars that act like they dont do anything wrong, then go home and do $$100,000 in cocaine. She's 21! leave her alone, be proud she only has 2 DUI's and not more.

58. This brilliant young actress makes millions and is surrounded by people whose livelihoods depend on her continuing to breathe. If they don't care, what could possibly be expected of bystanders who just hope our children don't model this self-destructive behavior.

We can continue to read stories on her life and watch her self destructive OR we can do this: Ignore Lindsay Lohan. Kill her career to save her. Most child stars save themselves when no one is watching, after the spotlight has died, when they have nothing to do but be better

60. Oh yeah, Lindsay will go to jail -- for 3 days. Paris got so much press from her jail time and talked about how she "found God" and wants to do "good things" in the world -- so far she's done nothing but go surfing!

Lindsay will do the same thing. Except she'll still be a coke fiend.
