Law enforcement now says Lohan was stopped after cops got a call of a vehicle being chased by another vehicle. The chasing vehicle was being driven by Lohan.
Lohan was driving a white Denali. She was chasing a Cadillac Escalade.
She was initially suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. A field sobriety test was conducted and she was subsequently arrested for DUI.
At the station, a search of her person was conducted, and cocaine was found in her pants pocket.
A breath test was conducted and her blood alcohol was between .12 and .13.

Evidently she was chasing the mother of her former personal assistant, who had quit hours earlier. The mother of the former assistant realized she was being followed, and called police, and did not initially realize that it was Lohan following her.

What is most amazing to me about all of Hollywood is how we, as a society, seem to value celebs as more than just actors---we hang on every word that comes out of these "celeb's" mouths regarding politics, religion, values, etc. etc. The majority of these "celebs" don't have any real skills, they lack an education, they lack respect for the law; yet, for some reason, we care about their opinions? Why in the hell does it make headlines when a celeb gives their opinion about the war, congress, immigration, family values, etc. etc. It makes me sick! Sure they have a right to an opinion, but, why does it make headlines? Why does their opinions affect public policy? What experience or accountability do these celebs have when they are wrong (which, is most of the time). Why do we have actors testifying before Congress about an issue facing society based on a "role" they played in a movie??? For example--Tom Cruise testifying about autism because he played the Rainman? What does he know about autism---heck, about anything. Did he even finish high school?
I find it ironic that as recent as 100 yrs ago, in the states and in Europe, actors were not looked upon as "decent society." heck, in Roman times, actors, even those that were citizens, were not afforded a great deal of respect, if any at all--they could not even go to bathhouses! Perhaps our ancestors had it right???

But there again getting busted gets you in the news so what the hell! And worse yet, Americans call this crap news& 'buy into' every story! This is very old news people, celebs being messed up at early ages on drugs & alcohol....look back at Tatum O'Neil & many more.....get a life people, this is not news! These gals are nothing but a danger to themselves & most of all, others! They should be locked up for a while & driver's licenses revoked!.
