I think you had the best comments I've read yet. It's easy to chalk it up to too much money etc, and being spoiled (and yes, that's part of it). But I think so much hinges in Lindsays case on her family dynamics. An irresponsible father, an even worse mother in my opinion trying to play BFF instead of Mother. Ironically, now is when Michael Lohan would be the best influence on his daughter. I think a big part of her has been just being stubborn in not seeing him (probably not wanting to piss her mom off). But I bet a big part of her is dying to see him. I don't think Lindsay is stupid (I know I'm in the minority).

She's a sick young woman. The sad thing is I really believe she wanted longevity in this career and now may have thrown it all away. Robert Downey, Jr. got the sympathy of the multitudes (both the public AND Hollywood). I hope Lindsay will get the same show of support after she gets out of both rehab and jail. It took jail to straighten Downey out and I think it may take the same for Lindsay. She IS an adult and has choices she made and must live with, all the blame can't go with her parents. I hope the mockery of her will stop and people will realize she needs help and prayers right now. She is going to know such humiliation soon enough once she gets sober and has to face the music in court, etc. I hope the press and public can try and remain a little civilized.

62. Her parents are useless. They won't learn even after Lohan's young death. Her dumbass parents will try and put it on the media and anyone else, instead of themself's.

Discipline begins at home, and as we can see her parent didn’t know parental control as they were all spending money and living on high. Now Lohna is high and will soon murder some innocent person. It’s only a shame for the innocent life that is soon to be taken because of Lindsey.

63. Why is it that the people who are having serious troubles, that CAN be helped, so that they will never return to their old ways, always commit suicide? But these sorry ass useless people with all the advantages just keep going, when they have more access to the means.

Better for Lohan to take her self out alone, than to have her murder someone else because the courts keep giving her special treatment. What a waste. There are so many that want help and the families & courts ignore them. But these people keep surviving until the kill someone else, or kill someone & also themselves.

Lohan needs prison NOT jail. The California courts are too soft on the rich & spoiled. Although sometimes when they do murder the innocent they still can walk the streets& go to nightly parties. Like the singer Brandi, who is still walking around free with NO court date for the death that she –Brandi – caused. They’re living still wild & free while the bereaved families cries nightly & thinks of their murdered loved one. They are the ones that have needs because of their lost. They can’t lie on the beach & travel for weeks to exotic destinations until they feel better like the useless celebrities. The families of the victims have to go right back to work, & then work even harder for the rest of their lives.

Lindsey needs to rid herself now. I don’t think anyone would miss her. Lindsey is like Paris & Vanessa Millino (Nick Lachey’s Girlfriend) they are useless to everyone, especially themselves.

Don’t say goodbye Lindsey…just go away…you are making California & the American youth look dreadful. Too hear about Daniel Rancliffe, Bindi & etc... from other countries doing something in their careers or for the environment were they live and here in America IS useful to everyone, & themselves.

BUT…You’re embarrassing Lindsey & so useless. You and your drugged out, in the closet bi-sexual, alcoholic nobody friends. Your smug smiles aren’t cute now, and they surely won’t be after the innocent has been murdered because of YOU and YOUR friend’s irresponsibility.

You live in a fantasy world! The last thing she needs is to "reach out" to the sperm donor--he is poison to her and has contributed to her downfall. Wake up!! Give her time and stop putting added pressure on her! She has lost herself, and needs to find her true self before growing in another direction, i.e. forgiving past hurts. Let's pray for her and let God handle things.

65. TOO MUCH, TOO SOON, TOO LATE....?
Ms. Lohan is in need of guidance-"real" love, and purpose.
The problem we have here-that is much different from the Paris Hilton situation, is that this young girl has had much success-at a young age-but with no true leadership and integrity coming from her so called parents. On the other hand, Paris Hilton has had everything you could imagine-with parents and grandparents that have been highly successful-and still couldn't fulfill something purposeful. One needs "healthy" struggle, without intoxication, in order to gain this strength and purpose in life. Parents and friends with INTEGRITY, will not enable Lindsay anymore, but love her with strength and help guide her away from everything in her path. Leaving Hollywood for a while might help.

66. So someone says that Lindsey is gone off to the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs already today. That does not impress me. She played that card before when she committed a hit-and-run. She was photographed smirking recently when given several chances to get well. She sneaks, lies and cheats. Jail her. Commit her to a psych ward since she is mentally unstable. She isn't a celebrity. She's an addict and dangerous.

67. Another wild child out of control. It's obvious that she suffers from an inherited addiction gene. I feel sad and sorry for her, but she has to step up to her bad choices and really be sincere in wanting help before she can get help. Too bad the rich and famous don't understand that money doesn't buy happiness, just drugs and misery! Her parents do not appear to be able to provide any stability in her life, but she's 21 now, and although just a girl, she's of legal age and will have to be the one making all the calls. Good luck Lindsay, you're a beautiful, talented girl, and you can do what's right and get back on track!

75. Michael Lohan stated in an interview with Inside Edition or ET that he tried contacting Lindsay about three times that day before her arrest. So the question is if this is part of his parol agreement not to contact her or her attorneys, why wasnt his parole revoke?
