Hanson: Grown Up Girls

The Hanson sisters appeared at the Virgin Megastore in NYC on Tuesday, bringing their special brand of lesbian chic!

The girls, Taylor, Ilene and Zelda, posed for cameras while promoting their new CD "The Walk." According to their website, they were able to create the album with "the freedom of having no major label ties." How convenient!

Also, let no one forget, sources told us that Oprah's staff said they were the most difficult guests -- ever.

31. I love them. I don't know why they have always gotten such a bad rap and people always make fun of them and the people who love their music. They are doing what they love and that is all that matters. Aleast they are doing something with their lives unlike Brittany and Lindsay.

32. These guys write all their own music, play their own instruments unlike so many of the pop stars today these guys are like music groups from the 60's and seventies. Please don't turn into a perez hilton web site, I can't stand the name calling. No drugs, no duis, married nice guys who are also very talented!!!!

33. Oh please. That 'Hanson are girls' thing is so old! We all know they aren't gay or at all feminine. Okay, maybe the middle one has questionable taste in accessories, but he's still gorgeous. Grow up and get over it, TMZ. They are hot and they rock!

34. Yes, let's mock those who actually aren't screwed up in Hollywood. The fact that these guys turned out with their heads screwed on straight automatically makes them the subject of ridicule. What does that say about the people (TMZ) posting this drivel?

35.
They do look remarkably HOT

Not feminine at all. I see some interpretations of trends gone by (80-'s, etc)

So beautiful. Very stylish, esp, the middle son. Really impressive, when you think about it - considering how so many American musicians HAVE NO SENSE OF STYLE - ***HANSON ROCKS!

36. How can you call yourself a legitimate news agency when you're pulling the same type of smarmy comments out of your ass that sites like Perez and Mollygood use?
These brothers are talented. They have MORALS (which, in the entertainment industry today, is saying A LOT). And, they CARE ABOUT THEIR FANS.
They've worked hard to achieve what they have- taking the hard road and starting their own label (and breaking away from one of the biggest labels to do it),so they could put out the music they wanted and wanted the fans to hear.
So, maybe if you feel the need to attack someone, try and go after Jessica Simpson, or any of the other talentless hacks that are in your headlines everyday.
DO NOT do it to actual artists. They don't deserve it.

37. I didn't know Katie Holmes was in Hanson.

38. Really TMZ? Really? Must you always bring up the Oprah thing? How about you do some research so you have something else to say about Hanson. Grow up! And what's with calling them girls, we're not in 1997 anymore, get over it.

40. I love Hanson....and good for them for actually being able to balance fame without ending up in rehab, jail, etc!

I just bought tickets to see them in concert!

41. Well, on the bright side, they're getting some press.

If the worst scandal they can dig up on them is the Oprah thing, which someone explained wasn't even them, but the fans, then these guys deserve alot of credit!

They're all straight and they're adorable. I'm glad to see they're back out there doing their thing. It's also nice to see that fans are sticking up for them!

Keep on rockin' Hanson.

42. These guys also guested on a show I produced when they were "hot" and could not have been more miserable. Aside from the fact they arrived with the entire Appalachian "tribe" ...they refused to take direction. When we noticed after shooting one pass of their performance that the youngest brat Zach had completely changed the way he was wearing his hair and we asked him to change it back he refused...thus requiring us to reshoot the entire thing from scratch. The only one I felt sorry for was the oldest brother who was so "unfortunate looking" it was painful to have a conversation with him.

43. The one in the vest is wearing really unflattering jeans, or maybe it's just a bad angle.

44. Being the ultimate judge of worthwhileness, I would say that being Christian and married doesn't put up a magical force field protecting them from criticism for dressing like preppy girls, or being mediocre musicians at best. And, good luck on that freedom from the binds of a somebody record label! I get the sense that they may be wearing magic underwear too...I wonder if Tom Cruise has all their albums...Thou shalt not produce crap and expect praise before the eyes of 50 Foot Jesus...! Boo-Bop-Bee-Bop-Do-Wop-The-Poo-Pop!

45. I DIDN'T KNOW KATIE HOLMES IS IN A BAND!
