Hanson: Grown Up Girls

76. I can't believe TMZ is ripping on these guys. Hanson has been working their asses off for over ten years making amazing music. Even leaving their record company and starting their own to make the kind of music they want to play - because they DID NOT WANT to stay with the MMMBop sound and their record label wanted them to. They are very talented guys, and if people would take a listen and give them a chance instead of shutting them out every time because of "MMMBop", you'd know it too. And TMZ it is people like you who add to the stereotyping of these men and cause many people to not give them a chance.

While these guys are staying clean and sober, taking care of their wives and children, making a living by actually using REAL talent, TMZ is jocking talentless trash like Paris et al. that don't deserve an ounce of our attention.

And as far as Hanson not having any fans goes, I have seen Hanson live 16 times all across the west coast, and every show I have been to has sold out. They have way more fans than you think.

They are talented and very brave for leaving their label, and are extremely successful considering the fact that they are completely supporting themselves on their own label. They deserve a chance so stop being to closed minded and go pick up their CD, "The Walk". It was released yesterday, and it's amazing.

77. First of all, they are NOT girls. Their names are Isaac, Taylor, and Zac. They are out promoting their newest CD in taste and not trying to be all flashy, unlike most of the talentless, "rehab-frequents" in the industry.
Maybe the person who wrote this article just wishes that they were girls, they've probably been harboring feelings of love for years.

84. they may not look like your average boy group, preppy and chic, but they are MUSICIANS. i think people have forgotten what it means to be a musician... writing your own music, playing your own instruments, ACTUALLY SINGING FOR REAL. it's a shame so many people can't recognize talented musicians...

87. Seriously. I mean I am glad you mentioned them at all. But the third grade just called and they want their lame joke back. Girls? Please. Just because they aren't dressing like thugs, goths, or preppy abercrombie models they are girls. Really mature.

These guys have PASSION for what they do, which is more than i can say for about 80% of the populations and 99% of the Hollywood stars.

Did you know that they went to africa to record with an african childrens choir? They recorded a song called "the great divide" that is now available on iTunes and 100% of the revenue is being donated to a childrens hospital for AIDs treatment. I wouldn't guess that a story like that would be good enough to make your oh so legitimate headlines.

You would't know good news if it hit you across your ignorant head.

Did "sources on Oprah" give any details, since you keep pushing that statement, yet never elaborate. Maybe it's because THEY weren't difficult, their fans were. Oops did we overlook that minor detail?
Sounds like an exuse to bash Hansen and further your childish Perez Hiltonesque grudge against them.
They may not be my cup of tea, but they write their own stuff, play their own instruments, and never went Hollywood. They don't shove their political views in our faces, don't party at the clubs, don't hang in Vegas, and don't have rap sheets.
They are boringly normal down to earth everyday sorts of guys with bad fashion sense.
Why do you hate them so much? You just make me like them more.

90. I found it hard to believe that Hanson were the most difficult guests ever on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Now that I see comment 15, I see TMZ is misrepresenting the truth by not telling the whole story. Shame on you...that's something the Enquirer would do.
