I enjoy listening to 97.1 in the morning, It is about the only talk radio program out there that grabs my attention. Reading the previous comments really irrates me. He DID NOT ruin the morning program for 98.7, but choose to move on. Appreciate that. JJS did fine after he chose other options. As far as what everyone has to write about his personal situation and finances, get a life. There are a far greater number of men out there that choose to treat their women with a far lesser degree of consideration then what you are chiming in on him on. MYOB and get a clue. Kutos to the 97.1 morning program, shame on 98.7 for sucking the life out of an option for our morning commute. We should all have options at the end of the day and not be married into something that is not there.

Is he telling the truth? That is really not very much money in LA, especially for someone in the entertainment industry.

Poor, angry Danny...he's just got a bad case of the "little man syndrome". No one really cares anymore. Glad she's getting out, finally. You go girl!

Get off of Danny's back. No one here has acknowledged that Danny was diagnosed with a serious mental illness (BiPolar Disorder) which can cause outrageous and severe irritability (eg rage), deep depression, and "excessive involvement in pleasurable activities that have a high potential for painful consequences" (DSM-IV-TR, 2000). Approximately 70% of untreated individuals with BiPolar Disorder self-medicate with drugs and/or alcohol. This is a tough illness to treat, but certainly can be treated and individuals can go on to live clean, productive lives. It appears that Danny is doing just that. Why wish ill will on someone who is trying to claw his way out of a tough, tough situation? As for Gretchen, noone really knows what goes on behind closed doors and to speculate as to who was "tortured" more in this union is a waste of time. I wish them both well and congraulate Danny on once again beating a relapse and hopefully taking meds to control his disease.

I am Danny's attorney and I drafted this declaration. I hate seeing anyone trashing him. You gotta admire this guy, turning his life around, finding renewed success later in life... He is a very hard working person who is creative and funny, he SAVED the Carolla show which was otherwise about to be canceled.

Steve-O - Look at the dates, of course he hadn't filed since 2005 - he propbably didn't have his w-2's yet by then - and still had until April 15th to file for 2006.

Since Gretchen made a lot of her money by managing his finances and career, it was smart of her to wait until he was making more before getting a divorce, that's for sure - I'm sure she skimmed as much as she could get away with. amazing she put up with him that long though! They're both a couple of ugly people on t he inside:/
