It was my understanding that She asked for the Scram not the courts.She has a problem with drugs and she doesnt want to admit it.You can pay all the money in the world to get help,but if the person does not want it,it won't work.Look at all the people who can't quit smoking.She needs a shrink,not jail.You can get all the drugs in jail that you want.This is the cop's problem.If they would just arrest the celeb's like normal people,they might not think its ok to drive drunk.

80. im so tired of people using the term disease to discribe an addict. as someone that actually has a disease, an incurable one at that, it is really offesive when you take a girl that puts coke in her nose, and try to put it on the same level as me. i think is actually gives addicts a cop-out for not havng to take responsibility for their actions. until she develops liver complicatons, please do not refer to her condition as a disease. she is an addict. nothing more, nothing less. a disease is when you have to constantly go to a doctor, and in my case, receive monthly injecions to try to "control" it. i do think this girls got problems (not real-life problems, but bubble-gum hollywood problems) and they should be addressed, but lets call it what it is, a pampered spoiled brat that thinks they are better than everyone else,and cant keep the 'caine out of her nose. and not only that, cause hey, do as much blow as you want, but stop gambling with us "regular folks" lives. we got real-life problems sweetheart, we dont need some crazy high-as-a-kite disney chick running into our innocent children out on the roads.

I used to love britney,paris-(well mabye not her),and lindsey.now,i think.....what a joke. all three of these (little girls) really need to just grow-up already.some have children of their own and are still acting like children themselves.you know they read or have been told what a joke they all are by some fans and TMZ.im really just embarresed by their behavior and wish they would find some self-respect or pride in themselves and turn all this mess around,if not for themselves than for the kids involved,their little sisters and fans who look up to them for guidence,and for all of are poor souls at work who get board and surf the net only to find that they have done it again. we really need something better to read about TMZ if this is the best you can do...mabye i need to find another web-site to check out.are they so drunk or drugged that they really have no idea how stupid they must look??? i hope no one other then themselves get hurt...because we the people...dont need this crap.

83. Why is this such a huge story? She has been getting into bars since she was 18! Her parents, lawyers, Doctors, friends etc... have had 3 years to put an end to this!!!! Maybe if Hollywood, or any hot spot for that matter would stop allowing these under aged singers and actors from drinking in there clubs things would be different. Clubs want these train wrecks for status and fame.... but turn there heads when when a problem arises. In a way I like that they get served and are given chance after chance, because then I don't feel as bad when they crash and burn. And it makes for great pictures, story and video..

have you heard of lung cancer - you know caused usually by choosing to smoke cigs. My point was addiction is a disease just as cancer, etc. I lost loved ones from both and I'm sorry to say the lung cancer was linked to smoking - by choice unfortunately and the OD of course started with making a bad choice. CONSEQUENCES FOR BAD BEHAVIOR: including:
viewing DUI victims, their funerals, their families.
loss of all movie, endorsements or other profitable contracts.
Large donation to MADD or similar dui victim group.
3 years at least of full-time community service. (40 hr. wk - just like a "real job"!)
No drivers licence ever again period.

The only thing I disagree with is jail time. I just don't think it rehabs anyone or serves any purpose at all. Total waste of taxpayer dollars.

All of the above should also be applied to Paris, Nicky, Britney and their other moronic counterparts with their values-free it's-all-about-me lifestyle.
At least Lindsay has some legitimate talent. Those others are just sucking up perfectly good oxygen on this planet...and the idea that any of them are role models for young teens makes my stomach hurt.

Alternatively, we could just take them back outside the barn and shoot them.
