UPDATE: TMZ has confirmed that Mindy McCready is now in police custody. She was arrested at the Nashville International Airport moments ago. Airport Police and Williamson County Sheriff's Deputies arrested her after she got off a Southwest Airlines flight. Let's hope she was in Group C!

Cops tell TMZ that Mindy McCready violated her probation when she was arrested in Florida on charges of battery and resisting arrest, after allegedly getting into it with her moms ... and then cops. McCready was sentenced to probation in 2004 after being convicted on a prescription drug fraud charge.

In the order, filed in Williamson County, Tenn. in November of 2004, Mindy was ordered to serve three years probation -- meaning she only had a few months left to go.

76. I'm praying for Mindy. She is so very talented. I heard her on a talk show (Oprah or Montel), and she spoke of being so badly beaten by her boyfriend once that he broke her nose and she was drowning in her own blood. She said her mother never gave her any encouragement about her singing ability when she was a child, and it just crushed her. Her mother's comment was something like, "you're good, but you'll never be great". What a thing to say to a child with a dream. Pull yourself up, Mindy. God loves you.

77. This is in response to Cheryl and so many others that always seem to put the blame on the parents of these so called celebrities that cant stay out of trouble. These people are weak minded adults that dont have the strength to do the right thing, my Dad degraded me every day of my life and my Mom let it happen....I have managed to stay on the straight and narrow, sure I have drank and tried drugs but it only made me feel like crap the next day. Mindy was so stupid that she kept going back to this mand even after he beat her nearly to death. I dont feel sorry for her... She needs to get some friggin balls and keep her ass out of trouble!!

78. I was watching the news last night (I'm from williamson county) and they played the 911 call from the night when she hit her "moms". She calls 911 and says that she is holding her toddler (didn't she try to get an abortion or was that another baby?? maybe it was trying to kill herself, heck i can't remember) and her mom is hitting her and that mom is making all these marks on her own body to make it look as thought mindy hit her. Obviously, those accusations where false, and once police got there, they caught on to mindy's scheme. As for the child, i can only guess its stil with the beaten grandmother.
