17. Stop being so uber sensitive. Coming from someone who knew kurt as a person away from his fame, I don't think Lily's comment was really as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be. Eh, she should keep personal things to herself. But even more so Courtney should have the desire to live a clean life today and be away from the trappings of illicit substance abuse and/or ANY further dabblinigs and play with it. It's consumed too much of her life up to this point. And thus is nothing but a hinderance.

Nobody near these people will stand up for a friend or loved one and give them the swift kick in da arse for wasting their abilities just to catch a buzz.!!? Stop placating the "stars" who think they are no more like any other person. There comes a time when an addict should be held accountable for their consistant mess ups as years go by. By that time they should have more of a hold of their predispositioned genetic makeup, and learned behaviour and be able to say, "NO MORE, look at the time that's been wasted."

As far a Frances is concerned I'm sure she has the wherewithal to be strong enough to appreciate and love her father, but at the same time not have to be skirted about and around as if walking on glass. Give her the benefit of the doubt. She will do fine. Bless her.

But to the fans who put Kurt on a pedastal, take it down, he was as regular a person as your very own neighbour. Gifted and talented, yes, but that isn't something that is hidden and kept away from "regular" folk. Many people have wonderful abilities. It is tragic that his pain was real, and extremely consuming at points. As if in Hell on Earth. But he chose to leave this beautiful place even if he wasn't making clear and transparent decisions at the time in his life. People have survived worse and/or lived similar tales. Enjoy and remember the good things that he brought forth. The last thing he would want for anyone to do is always think of him as sad, or weak. That's not what he was about, due to contrary belief. He was danced around and left to be isolated, enabled to twidle on his own (yea, his choice and others, no blame is being given). Don't let similar things happen to Brit, Lilo, or Doherty. It's already happened to Anna Nicole, and countless other people who's names will never be publically known.

19. Wow! Who would have thunk it that a character on All My Children would become a term to describe transsexuals. I wish that All My Children would bring back the Zarf/Cloe character.

Maybe that Courtney Love isn't doing anything lately, she would want an acting role on All My Children, that is, if she can remain sober and clean.

26. Dumbass Allen. Cobain chose to do it. Himself. It was NOT Love's choice. That's precisely why suicide is such a gutless and horrendous thing to do to yourself and your loved ones. It tars them with the same damn brush; and always, always undeservedly, because another's unbalanced choice of suicide is out of their control. Allen's comment was cruel, vile, uneducated and of a schoolyard mentality.
She is so unevolved that she has no insight nor empathy. Next.

27. Hey There LightBulb, Why don't you read up on the whole Kurt/Suicide thing! There are very many people who will tell you that he did not choose to kill himself but rather, someone was paid by Courtney to do murder him and make it look like a suicide.(It wasn't hard to do) Imagine if he HAD divorced her! She wouldn't have all his money to spend on plastic surgery, etc. The world knows she's has always been an unstable addict and if you bother to read cobaincase.com you might just want to take back what you said about Kurt's "suicide" not being Love's choice. It was the way she chose to make it appear! She will pay for what she did eventually. It wouldn't be the first time that someone got away with murder! You expressed your opinion and now I've expressed mine! Freedom of speech!

28. Hey, #26 @ 11:34 A.M. - your facts duly noted. Could have done without the 'who's the dumbass' though. This is all conjecture; where is the investigation, the inquiry, the proof, the charges, the witnesses etc. against Love? For all you know this could also be crass and groundless character assassination against an individual who is already suffering one of life's greatest blows. The F.B.I. and various levels of special prosecutors would work on a case this high profile. Time will tell, won't it? Sounds like a 'we hate Yoko because she stole John' resentment theory, except substitute Love and Cobain, at this point. Cobain lovers have gone after Love since the suicide trying to point the finger elsewhere, when it very well may need to point at Cobain, If they ever came up with solid evidence, I would be the first one to side with truth and justice. I do appreciate your bothering to comment to me with your flip side input.
