Is This the New Britney Song?

UPDATE: We're told this song may have been first recorded in 2003 and leaked in 2006. So why would someone leak it to us again? Hmmm... It's all I gots y'all!

Hand-delivered to the TMZ offices this morning was a yellow padded envelope with a CD inside that simply read, "Britney -- Get It." So we just had to listen to it, y'all!

The song passed the listening test of our resident Britney fan, Brian, who says, "It sure sounds like her. It's terrible, but I think it's her."

It's also possible that the envelope was delivered by someone in Brit's camp or even Brit Brit herself -- they spelled Glendale wrong! Is that in California, y'all?

So take a listen and tell us what you think: Is this the beginning of a Britney comeback?

256. Yeah thats Britt...............and as much as the world thinks she is a terrible singer. If this turns out to be her next single..........IT WILL BE A SUCCESS JUST LIKE MOST OF HER OTHER SONGS. She made a career out of singing............so as terrible as some of you think this sounds. It will be a continuous cycle...........It will be a hit. So dont be suprised when it is. Me on the other hand.........im neutral in all this.............i like her and the song.

257. She should have stayed bald, medicated. and hidden. I was not a fan, or impressed with her on her first forray. And this song will certainly not convert me.. She was Studio Plastic then, and now is just recycled. Way too many of bimbos in this Malibu Barbie genre. Shakira slays them all...

259. Britz doesn't sound so good. She can't hit those notes like she used to before the media finally devirginized her, stripping her of her school girl outfits and her Betty Boop charm. And then that little bit of drama with Justin.....No wonder she's out of her mind. I think we should kind of congratulate Justin for not being around her anymore. At least he knows how to bring sexy back with class.

this was recorded in 2003 for In The Zone it is produced by DFA
Britney didnt like it so she scrapped it along with a couple of other songs
i have the full demo its around 1:50 anything longer is fake
the song isnt called Get It DFA never titled it and it is not registered in EMI database or ASCAP there are no plans to ressurect this song for her new album the first single
off of the new album is supposed to be premired on her official site launch on august 15th and i highly doubt that u guys got the CD from a 'source' from the britney camp
prolly from some attention whore looking for attention and that is not britneys handwriting either so its not from her next time contact jive and have them confirm this crap if your going to claim you have the new song so i dont have to waste my time explaining that its old and grey and long forgotten
