48. Paris Hiltons record "The stars are blind" did very well on the charts, she was in the top 40 and a lot of people must have bought it to put it there. I heard it on MTV and I thought it was pretty good. She's not my cup of tea musically but I thought she did well. I don't know what people expect her to do now that she is out of jail, she isn't doing anything wrong, she did go to a hospital charity event a few days ago, not much was said about that. She has a driver so she isn't driving, she hasn't been caught passed out on drugs, she looks genuiniely happy to be out and enjoying her life , what the hell do people want this girl to do? TMZ was accused of kissing her ass, well they did a complete turn around now, she is constantly reffered to as the ex-con. That stinks. And to the person who exclaimed "who gives a rats ass" you obviously do or you wouldn't have taken time out of your Yoga meditation to write that post. Lindsay Lohan probably won't do a day in Jail for anything, niether will Nicole Ritchie, Lohan is a total waste as far as I'm concerned, throwing her whole life and career away, at least Paris knows how to enjoy her life and money. She's not Mother Theresa but who is? Britney Spears is really a mess, and with two kids, I feel sorry for her, she is obviously having a nervous breakdown right before our eyes and all people can say is she's a train wreck y'all. We should really get past the fact that these people have money and it pisses us off and look at the real problems these people have. All they mean to sites like this is money, the raunchier the picture or the mistake, the more money they make, maybe we ought to start taking pictures of the paparazzi and the gossip mongers and see what their lives are all about, I bet that would be an eye opener, or boring.

Who said you need talent or a decent voice to be a singer? Not in Hollywood! Although Paris Hilton's self-titled debut album 'Paris,' was dropped by Warner Bros after poor sales, she's going back to record another album.

Her debut single "Stars Are Blind" reached no. 18 on the U.S. Billboard charts, her second single "Nothing in This World" barely registered on the charts, reaching No. 89 on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Charts.

After a brief appearance on the Billboard album charts, 'Paris' vanished after selling only 77,000 copies.

Despite poor sales, lack of interest, and a negative response from critics, Hilton is determined to make another album. She said, "I'm already working on my new record."

Um...good luck with that. Should I prepare a "Paris' Album Bombs" story now or save it until she's done with the album?

55. Can Paris sing? I don't think she can sing that good. I know she made an album one time and didn't sell too well. I prefer to listen to country like Lee Ann Womack , Dolly Parton, and Martina McBride . Good Luck , Paris!

57. Listen, I couldn't stand Paris Hilton or what she stands for. However, I respect the fact that she's toned down her "look at me" Papparazzi image after her release. She seems to be spending more time living her life (surfing, vacationing, etc.) than living FOR a life in front of the camera. As for charities...people, you don't just start a charity overnight. It's a process of organizing, filing papers, preparing a mission statement and a plan. I have never doubted that Paris is an animal lover. People who know her have said that she has always kept homeless pets...lizards, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if Paris started a charity for animals. She is a woman of great means....and it would not be difficult for her to have several pets. I have two dogs and two cats. I work 8-6 everyday and they are alone all that time, but I'm still a good caregiver. They are my life after work and I feed them and offer them good vet care. She could have 10 dogs and as long as she's taking care of them, who cares?

58. oh man...this is why i have nothing against "illegally" downloading music. when people say that stealing music denies the opportunity for smaller bands to get record deals, i say that record companies giving recording contracts to no-talent hacks like Paris, Ashlee Simpson, etc. is what really kills the industry. Paris' first record was a cruel joke that sold 77,000 copies to 77,000 of the lowest common denominator. She can't sing....she had more effects on her voice than Stephen Hawking!

59. #63 Kelly, toned down her "look at me" image? Who are you trying to kid? This tw@t calls the paps herself whenever she is going somewhere to make sure she gets press.
The closest she came to toning it down was that day recently when she covered her face with a towel and that was probably only because her makeup was smeared from giving her driver (or some other random guy) head

60. I love Paris. She is exactly what she and the paparazzi want her to be..... A Celebrity Icon famous for doing nothing.... good for her. I don't begrudge it to her at all. But you can't use the media to get famous and not expect them to notice your foibles? Hell she probably calls them with a list af places where she will be and how she will pose. Her singing is mediocre at best in my opinion, and is currently being sued for musical plagiarism. She is rich, Thats Great for her. It is the wealth that her family has earned and it is her right. However, it is a shame that with the power that comes from fame and money she is unable to make any significant positive impact. She should study Princess Dianas life and see what she was able to do. Paris is in an enviable position and I hope she appreciates and uses that position wisely.
