Bachelorette Pops One Out

Trista and Ryan SutterFor those of you sitting on pins and needles for word of "The Bachelorette's" birth, here it is. *sound of one gasp*

Celebrity Baby Blog has reported that Trista Sutter and husband Ryan welcomed their first child, a boy, last night via C-section, after a failed induction/stalled labor. Too much info?

The little bachelor, Maxwell Alston, weighed in at 5 lbs., 3oz., born four weeks early due to Trista's pregnancy complications of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. Everybody's okay now! No word yet if Maxwell will be appearing on "A Baby Story."

49. Umm what medical school did you folks go to. Sometimes a woman in severe preeclamspia CAN NOT have a csection because her blood will not clot. A severe form of preeclampsia is HELLP syndrome (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets). I had severe pe and hellp syndrome and was denied a csection due to the fact that the drs were afraid I would hemmorage and have a siezure/stroke on the operating table. Sometimes the best way to go is an induction and my cervix was manually opened with a foley catheter.

NO ONE wants preeclampsia, so this garbage about them seeking attention is wrong. Give the girl a break. She had a baby, had her baby early, had a csection, and she had two major complications. She deserves a little time.

Preeclampsia is defined as 140/90 or 30/15 baseline bp AND 300mg of protein in the urine. Which means her kidneys were not working and it was best for baby to come out.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT PEOPLE. I have btdt twice now. Severe both times, early deliveries both times.

55. ZZZZZZZZZZ...are you kidding me? Does anyone care about these losers? How pathetic that we find any interest in watching these people to begin with, let alone care they have a baby.

60. A baby is always a source of joy! These two people met, albeit on a TV show, but it was, ultimately, some kind of Kismet! This was always meant to be, and they've just won the LOTTO.
Very, very happy for both of you....treasure this little gift. You are so blessed.
