46. These girls need to know that there are dozen of young girls waiting in line to take their place. What has nicole done but use her father's name to make it. I have never seen her in a film. All she does is make the party scene. They will all fade if everyone would quit following their every move. Who cares anyway. I don't give a rat's ass about any of them. They should have to do community service in these hospitals where people are recovering from accidents caused by drunk drivers. Maybe then and who knows they would see what happens when you drink and drive. But no they will go to a jail and be given special treatment and serve a very short time. Regular guys would rot in jail if they were caught doing what these bitches are doing. What a piece of crap.

My husband told me that he heard a radio station telling the story about Nicole Richie's DUI arrest and how the DA is pushing for the maximum amount of time, or at least a good chunk of time - 7-10 years. If Nicole was in prison for at least 7 years, which I really don't think will happen, as most celebs get off, scott free, or have to do the minimum amount of punishment dues - like community service. My husband tends to think that Nicole is going to pay for this crime dearly, as best friend, Paris Hilton, was just shown as an example to America for what can happen to you if you drive with a suspended license. I wish Nicole well, and just hope that she can get help. Too many young starlets are out there driving hazardously, almost killing people - and in one case actually killing someone... That young star being Brandy, whom was involved in a motor vehicle accident, which subsequently killed a woman in another car. These girls/women have to know that drinking and driving is BAD, and DESTROYING THEIR LIVES!!!

52. The drinker in our society is socially supported and outrageous behavior goes along with the drink. It's a double edged sword because those of us injured are often told to 'be quiet' as 'everyone does it'
Presidents, Judges, doctors, lawyers, mom, dad, sister brother... Tonight, someone won't be coming home and the driver will more times than NOT get a slap on the hand.

Everyday I get up, put my prostheses on and hear people like LL say, get over it...

throw away the key. And thats before the Judge gives you up too a year in jail. and a big

56. I'm so relieved at least one young star is taking responsibility for her actions. Paris tried to evade her sentence multiple times, citing discrimination in giving her jail time and a mental breakdown in jail. Now LiLo is getting a jump on things, claiming she wasn't driving and the coke wasn't hers. Because the pants weren't hers. Riiiiiiiight. Thank you Nicole, for pleading bravely! It's not only more respectable, it's smarter - the law will likely be nicer to you if you don't give them a lot of BS.

58. I am going to be mad and very disappointed if she serves less time than Paris. What she did is a lot worse. She's lucky she didn't hurt or kill someone. And I think driving on the wrong side of the freeway as well as having multiple DUIs is a lot worse than driving on a suspended license like Paris did. She's obviously not learned from her time in rehab. And 5 days won't teach her a thing.
