Usher's Wedding Off

Let's call the whole thing off! Pop prince Usher and his fiancee Tameka Foster have called off their wedding, which was scheduled for today.


A statement released by Usher's publicist, Patti Webster, said, "It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."

Usher and the much-older Tameka (he's 28, she's 37) are expecting a baby this fall. No word on whether the couple is still engaged or even together.

18. Nice to see someone here who isn't a woman hater BTDT. I am hoping if the wedding was called off, Tameka was the one who called it off. Marrying a "boy" with a controlling mother is harder than rasing a baby without marriage!!!!! She will do a fine job with help from her family.....Grow up Usher and while you're at it, stop with the Michael Jackson dance moves.....so 1980's.....

21. Judge Mablean Ephram used to say " Look deep before you leap " and it's clear Usher didn't look. Why would you want to hitch your STAR to a woman that was married before and been up on Welfare fraud charges. Do you still have Chilli's number?

22. He found out she is an ex con and served jail time for welfare fraud and theft. Her first babies daddy was a big time drug dealer in Oakland California that got killed. At least he found out sooner then later that she was a gold digger. Have fun with the child support you know its his free meal ticket for her and her other three kids. He can say sorry to his fans later when his concert ticket sales are down and he is left wondering why!!!!

Thank GOD he didnt marry that maneka, hes commiting career suicide if he marries that man looking freak of nature and I hope that baby aint his....why wont he just take Chilli back so that he can be normal again instead of marrying this prune tummy tramp!!! Usher, that was a wise move to call of the wedding.... you just did yourself a huge favor by saving money...and get a prenup for christs sake!

30. Good for Usher!! According to all of the negative press about Tameka, she was definitely bad news for his career. Tameka's half sister spilled the beans about her criminal past, so perhaps that had a lot to do with the last minute wedding cancellation. Anyone who creates a wedge between a man and his mother is truly up to no good. His vows/commitment is now to take care of his child Tameka is carrying.
