I believe that Jessica Simpson is one of the better role models for her generation and those younger. She really hasn't been embroiled in any scandal, even though she's constantly monitered by the media, other than a failed marriage. She seems very enterprising in her approach to business. I do wish she'd produce more music, even more covers of existing songs, such as Roberta Flacks' "The First Time Ever I Saw His Face." I'm a 57 yr old Vietnam veteran and I do approve of how she's been handling herself. Her physical attributes are really not the true issue; it's how she lives not looks that is important. Her diversification in business is most positive. As far as her father, I'm not well enough informed of his total magement of her career to make judgements. I do think the breast comment, if true, was out of place. However, that is something that I believe has been taken out of context of the original conversation. I don't believe he's a "Joe Jackson" in his approach to his daughters careers. I would be interested in knowing his percentage of the total income they produce though. I really would like the daughters to produce more music in the near future. I enjoy hearing them; and I do buy their CD's. Thanks for your time reading this (for those who actually do!).

190. Creepy puts it mildly. This is the guy who likes to speak graphically about both his daughters' T & A in public!!! Hello incest hotline!!!! In a few years, we'll see both the girls on Oprah's couch doing a tear-laden tell-all. Stable homelife may ass!!! I can't believe some people are actually congratulating this guy. I guess just being a former preacher gives you a free pass in many narrow-minded people's eyes. There is none so blind......

His daughters have very little talent to begin with, but they are marketable in certain genres. However, his mis-management and interferrence has cost them plenty of great opportunities to play to their little stregnths. No credible director or producer wants to deal with a stage parent to begin with, but many will if the kid is a huge talent, which the Simpson girls definitely are not.

they both need to wise up fast and get new management if they want to continue being marketable at all. The careers they both have had to date is mainly from buzz, but the talent is so thin, that the buzz is over. They're quickly being steamrolled by "the-next-big-things" in the teen & post-teen markets.

I used to be a huge fan of Jess, but her so called "Christian morals" are VERY VERY questionable. everybody knows that this family is not as Religious as they claim to be.

What kind of a Christian man would talk about his daughter's sex life and the state of her virginity and about certain body parts? do you think that a Christian woman would talk about how great her breasts are? I think not! this family is pathetic and if they really do belong to christ then they are lousy excuses for christians.

195. Oscar & Jessica Simpson in the same sentence?! You're joking right? I've seen her act, and I've seen porn. I say the job would be perfect for her! Just a few less lines, a little more stunt work.
She runs around half naked most of the time anyway, so she shouldn't have a problem taking the rest of her threads off.
