Usher's Wedding Woes Continue

Why did Usher and Tameka Foster call off their wedding yesterday? It seems that absolutely nothing was working for the would-be bride and groom.

Usher's mother and former manager was part of the problem, as were differences in opinion between the couple. Usher's mother, Jonetta Patton, is against the wedding, and was only invited to the ceremony at the last minute. Her disapproval, a source told People, "is one of the main obstacles."

Usher wanted to take the reception upscale with a catered dinner from chef Jean Georges, while Foster wanted a backyard barbecue. "They only decided two weeks ago to have a wedding," said a source. "They wanted to have it take place before the baby bump started showing."

I have to say....I agree with Scarlettine...all of her previous boyfriends have been rich and famous...she has 3 kids...and is 9 yrs older....hmmm sounds like a gold digger to me...found a young man that is VERY wealthy, she turned on all the charms Im sure (she is very pretty) I do agree that getting married just because of a pregnancy is the wrong reason...kids usually end up being used as pawns against each other later anyway. But in general...if women and girls today put as much thought into who fathers their children as they do what shoes go best with their outfits....we might not have millions of kids that have NO clue who their daddys are....Girls....think about it....you have a baby with the flavor of the week....#1 you are tied to him for the next 18+ years. #2 Thats if you are lucky enough that he sticks around or pays child support.

96. Oh for craps sakes. Looks like Usher is caught in the middle of two controling women in his life. One being his mom, and the other his Fiance. What a shame. I think Usher should take the baby( after he or she is born)*pay them both off* and get the hell out of dodge .

98. Usher will not be alone long, believe me. So many of his fans are grateful this happened actually. She was never in his league, and she knew it. That's why she hid her past and all that baggage from him. She would have definitely held him back.
