Al Gore III pleaded guilty Monday to possessing marijuana and other drugs, but a judge told the former Veep's son he can withdraw that plea and have the charges dropped if he successfully completes a drug diversion program. What a bargain!
Cops say the 24-year-old was going 100+ MPH in his Prius on an Orange County freeway when they pulled him over. Multiple drugs were found in his car.
Gore pleaded guilty to two felony counts of drug possession, two misdemeanor counts of drug possession without a prescription, and one misdemeanor count of marijuana possession.
He will be sentenced on February 7.

#30 Is that for everyone or just rich, white politically connected types?
If Gore was my dad I would've committed suicide by now!!!! Blowing your brains out will do it, Gore III!
CostaMesaBoy - Oh good, so when he completes this round of rehab, it record will be wiped clean again. Then when he gets busted the next time, it will be just like a first offense.
Well, isn't he special.
Sooooo....Does he lose the right to vote? His dad might need that one extra popular one, should he run again.
if one of the bush twins was arrested with drugs , while doing 100mph, all hell would break loose.
but that just goes to show the democrats are untouchable in this country.
just ask the kennedy family, ted should have some good stories for ya!
So they throw the book at Paris, but they give Gore a slap on the wrist? I got popped with some of the same FELONY charges in LA County and I had to do a lot of community service, paid a lot of fines, and I never got the charges expunged from my record. So they throw the book at me and Paris and this douche bag gets the royal treatment? What an inconvenient truth.
Another absurdity. What ever happened to "mandatory minimum sentencing?" Oops, I forgot, that is only for US taxpayers. He should make a great politician with an honorary BS degree from the Ted Kennedy graduate school of driving.
#41, yeah. Guess they didn't hear about his trouble in Maryland. Seems the liberal news media doesn't travel that far.
#42 That only applies to the regular folks. Another inconvienient truth
going over 100 miles an hour wasting gas. wish he would have ran over his worthless dad.
sentence just another hypocracy in the gore family saga. there just loosers
It does not make a damn bit of difference if he is white or not so quite making it a race issue you bunch of ignorant RACIST a-holes. Granted, he should have paid a stiffer penalty, but had he been Eddie Murphy, Usher, or any other celebrity (regardless of race), he likely would have received similar celebrity treatment. Shoot, maybe the Judge was even a liberal sympathizer. Do something with your life, make something of yourself, and get over it you bunch of complaining, weak-hearted fools. I paved my own way to success despite socio-economical road blocks and donât need any moron that does not know my plight to pass judgement on me and my race.
