Al Gore III pleaded guilty Monday to possessing marijuana and other drugs, but a judge told the former Veep's son he can withdraw that plea and have the charges dropped if he successfully completes a drug diversion program. What a bargain!
Cops say the 24-year-old was going 100+ MPH in his Prius on an Orange County freeway when they pulled him over. Multiple drugs were found in his car.
Gore pleaded guilty to two felony counts of drug possession, two misdemeanor counts of drug possession without a prescription, and one misdemeanor count of marijuana possession.
He will be sentenced on February 7.

"It's call addiction people! It cuts across all racial, economical and political lines. Bush, Cheney and Bush's daughter all were arrested for alcohol related crimes."
It is hard to believe another rich person got nothing more than a slap on the wrist. A middle class kid with the same charges would be looking at five years. The American justice system is a joke.

ITA! everyone here has a family member or knows someone who is recovering from or is addicted to something, be it booze, pills or drugs. I hope he and the rest of the kids who are out getting high or the suburban mom popping pills realizes that this type of stuff destroys families.
ANOTHER RICH & WHITE INJUSTICE TO THE SYSTEM....MAYBE DADDY AL SHOULD BE PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO THE SON AND NOT THE "SUN"
great comment #65. Almost poetic. I'm guessing you dropped out school in the 5th grade...loser.
Sorry # 65. I meant #64. You are the dumbass I was referring to.
Scout-
Yes, we do have addicts all around us...I have an alcoholic in my family, and we all feel the pain.
The joke of this Gore incident is that he's getting a slap on the wrist for a felony! I don't think anyone would make fun of addiction, but I'll rant all day about this druggie getting off because his daddy *was* important.
WATCH IT, RANDO- PEOPLE ARE LAUGHING AT YOU, TOO!

Everyone knows that rich people have it easier than the average person when it comes to getting out of trouble. Look at :
Scooter' Libby
OJ Simpson
Robert Blake
Kobe Bryant
rando, maybe you should stop calling anyone names. The numbers change and you may end up calling yourself a dumbass
