Lane Garrison Relives Deadly Drunk Driving Crash

TMZ has obtained a chilling video in which former "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison relives the night someone died while he drove drunk behind the wheel of a car.

Fighting back tears and with his voice trembling, Garrison has gone back in front of the cameras -- to record a powerful and graphic public service announcement was directed by Andrew Gallery for The Troy and Alana Pack Foundation.

Hoping to prevent people from making the same deadly mistake he did in the December 2006 crash night, which resulted in the death of 17-year-old Vahagn Setian, Garrison warns drivers, "Just don't drink and drive, it's not worth it, it's just not worth it." Eerily realistic recreated footage of a drunk driving accident plays between clips of Lane's emotional plea. Amid the devastating wreckage, a frantic woman can be heard screaming "My boyfriend is dead!"

Garrison pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter, felony DUI with bodily injury and one misdemeanor count of providing alcohol to a minor. Sentencing is scheduled for August 2.

91. I DON'T THINK THAT PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY HAVE ENOUGH MORALS, CONSCIENCE, ETHICS, STANDARDS OR ANY DAMN THING ELSE FOR HIM TO MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. THE ONLY THING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE UNDERSTAND IS THE LAW AND HEAVY PENALTIES OF WHICH WE HAVE NEITHER. THAT IS WHY WE STILL HAVE DRUNKS ON THE ROAD TODAY MOST OF THEM WITH DUI HISTORIES...NUFF SAID...SFRIDLEY46@AOL.COM

92. Poor dumb sap. Too bad he did not think to NOT drink and then drive BEFORE he went out drinking, picked up some kids much younger than himself at a 7 - 11 ! and then lost control of his vehicle killing a 17 yo boy.

What a horrible shame, and waste of two lives.

96. I am very impressed with this video! I am so very glad that Lane took the initiative to do this and show others that he made a mistake. Its not like he plead innocent and then was fond guilty. I plead guilty and is ready to be sentenced. He will do his time. People make mistakes...thats what we do and he is paying for them. He isnt blaming anyone but himself and that is the best way to show remorse...

Look at Vince Neil...He KILLED someone while driving under the influence and no he hawks TEQUILLA!!!

97. I lost my daughter and her boyfriend in a car accident.. Not drinking or drug related, apparently her boyfriend fell asleep at the wheel. I could hardly watch this video, yet it had me mesmorized. I do believe he is sorry, as he should be. Living in the hell I am living, could I forgive him if it were my daughter he killed, no, because he was drinking....If I were a judge for drunk or drug drivers, I would send them out to a fatal accident scene as part of their sentence. Just make them stand there and watch the horror of it all, then make them go and stand behind the police as they tell the family that they have lost a loved one. If not that, make them do their community service in a hospital ER until they see what a drunk driving accident can do. Don't make their community service cleaning up a park. Maybe if Paris, Lilo, Nicole, Britney had to see this first hand, they would sober up. They are getting 3 days in jail.......that's a slap on the wrist..........they will eventually kill someone. But, until it's a member of a judges or politicians family, nothing will be done about it...............

98. I doubt he will do anyway near the time in prison that a non celebrity would get if they killed another in a DUI. And even if he gets time, I am sure that it will be spent all at Club Med. Tee hee.

99. He was on his way to a party with underage kids (17 yr old male and two 15 yr old girls).

Possible pedophile too.

Nice tears. He's an actor. LOL at the pic above with his watery eyes. Christ.

Drunk. Coke up. Previous history of reckless driving and marijuana possession.

Let him sit in jail and think about it for a minute.

100. #27 and #35

He DID plea GUILTY. If he wasn't trying to take responsibility he would have plead NOT GUILTY or NO CONTEST. I'm sure he feels horrible having to sit in front of the camera and make this PSA and relive this tragedy. He's a celebrity, he probably doesn't even have to do a PSA. Why don't regular citizens do PSA's?

101. I am 55 and have never had an alcoholic drink in my life. It's just the way I was raised. It would be a much better world if God himself came down and made it so that alcohol was never available again. A friend of mine once made the comment to me that not everyone who drinks does so irresponsibly. That does nothing to change my mind.

104. I think he is really sorry for what happened. You get a lot of kids that are just thrown into the limelight with literally overnight success and i think this is the result of that. Im not saying in anyway its right but those kids in the car saw him drinking a lot and they had decisions as well to not get in that car, take HIS keys, or call the police if they see him starting to drive away. I know what he did was wrong but i believe everyone in that car made the decision to let him drive drunk. Hollywood has to do something to protect this kids from being thrown into the spotlight and getting into the all night partying and doing drugs.
