Cops: "Little" Star Hit Bar, Drove Car

The pint-sized pop on the TLC reality show "Little People, Big World" has been hiding a pretty big secret -- he was busted for DUI last month.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, 45-year-old Matthew Roloff was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, around midnight on June 19 after cops claim that Roloff's van had been swerving on the road.

Roloff, who then failed a field sobriety test, was taken to Washington County Jail, where he was cited and released.

376. I would drink to if I had to put up with a wife like he has. And the children talk to Matt like he is a dog. I see trouble down the road if they don"t start making the kids have a little respect.

377. With Matt's wife Amy yelling at him all the time, I don't blame him for getting drunk.

378. I'd love to see Amy and Matt take a stronger stand regarding their kids cleaning up their rooms now that they are newly painted & carpeted.

As for Matt's arrest, let's see how it plays out. If he's guilty, he should know better. His character is the life blood to all of his business' that are very successful.
If he's innocent, a lot of fair weather fans can stay away. I'm sure the show has more then enough fans already without them.

380. I think he's hot!!! I wonder how big his **** is?? I heard all short guys have big ones...?!?!? His wife Amy better watch out now that he's "famous". She bitches way too much at him, and she could use a good clean up every now and then. Her house and herself!

382. Is this story true? If so, I just want to say, hang in there Matt! We all make mistakes; it doesn't matter who we are. Most people, whether they admit it or not, have driven with a drink or two in them and thought they had complete control; most just don't get caught! Not that it's right or ok to drink and drive, but nobody has the right to judge you based on this incident. I've watched your show from the beginning and you and your family have really inspired me. I think you are all great people and deserve the recognition you've obtained from the show. I hope this one mistake, if it's true, doesn't bring LPBW to an end. After all, nobody is perfect. Good luck to you Matt and family!!!

383. give the man a break, his son has been in and out of the hospital and his wife is always ragging on him, a little booze cruise never hurt no one

384. This is too bad - he has a wonderful family and has built a wonderful life against all odds. It does show that no matter what, we're all human. Love the show and adore this family!!

Based on the fact that the show is built on family - values, growth, struggles, successes - hopefully TLC won't cancel their show, but rather follow it's own mantra and incorporate this family's trials and tribulations with this episode as a learning lesson for all viewers......Matt, Amy and the family - hope to see you all back soon!

385. As if he was the first to drink and drive....it goes on everyday.Lets see what Matt has to say.Maybe he had wine with his dinner .Best not to judge people lest you be judged.

386. It doesn't take much alcohol under Oregon Law to be considered dui. He doesn't have to walk a straight line. The cops use breathalyzer tests.

Give the guy a break. He's quite a character, has a nice family and a reasonably good show. As to his taking a cab...he lives in a rural area far from cabs and he probably hadn't had enough to drink to consider himself at risk.

I know my family don't even have one beer during family gatherings unless they have a designated driver. It's just not worth the risk.

387. Why dont US police use the breathalyser that we have in UK?
They dont mess about with walking a line n touchin your nose over here, its a breath sample and nicked

388. Matt, Matt, Matt. What were you thinking? Maybe you need to focus more on your drinking problem (if in fact this is true) and less on your show.

389. I am very disappointed at his lack of responsibility and maturity. Now,i know why the kids act so unruly and have absolutely no respect for authority. If this issue is not mentioned in the upcoming season of LITTLE PEOPLE... this will be the last season i watch...what a shame he's embarrassed himself and his family...What a great role model (not)for all little people across the world, but more importantly for his children!!
