Cops: "Little" Star Hit Bar, Drove Car

The pint-sized pop on the TLC reality show "Little People, Big World" has been hiding a pretty big secret -- he was busted for DUI last month.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, 45-year-old Matthew Roloff was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, around midnight on June 19 after cops claim that Roloff's van had been swerving on the road.

Roloff, who then failed a field sobriety test, was taken to Washington County Jail, where he was cited and released.

78. I am a big fan of the show and deeply disappointed, not only by the drinking and driving but by the family's keeping this a secret for so long. I would like to have seen someone who depends so much on the public for his livelihood come forward and take responsibility - rather than being "outed" by a gossip web site.

81. The local news stated that he refused the field sobriety test. Not surprising because with his disabilities he could not have passed any physical test and I don't believe that Washington County carry portable breathalyzers yet. At least they didn't when I lived in Hillsboro but that has been awhile. Sad to see this happen to someone who actually tries to make a difference in the world. Hey, we all make mistakes and I'm sure Matt will own up to it and deal with it. Remember, with his size, one drink could impair him, how would you like to live that way?

85. You guys are nuts. We have ALL driven drunk at least once in our lives. I have dozens of times of the years, but never broke any traffic laws or swerved around on the road. Matt is allowed to have a few drinks when he wants them, like anyone else. You have to be really zooked out drunk to crash or cause injury to someone else.

This "little" incident won't harm Matt at all. It simply makes him more human.
