34. Art can NOT be described, its from ones mind and it needs NO explanation. Lenora didn't paint this, she purchased it and she loves it, that is her perogative to love whatever tickles her fancy. So no one should be insulting her for her taste. There are numerous paintings out there of the Golden Girls, have you guys seen the one of Betty White as a Nazi type dominatrix? That is just another example, there are lots of em, they are becoming so popular that there are other artists getting in on this and painting pictures for Lenora as we type our comments. So it's obvious that there is a huge following of Golden Girls lovers out there! I am anxiously awaiting for this show to come to NYC. I will be there with bells on. She was offered tons of cash for this painting and refuses to part with it, folks that must mean its special to her, so who are you people to say what is art and what is not? And how dare you say that Lenora is ugly, there is NOTHING, not an iota of anything unattractive about this woman, she is truly beautiful on the inside and on the outside.
She is intelligent, sexy, gorgeous, fabulous, real (no silicone for this woman), sophisticated and an ultimate ICON. Love her, so you haters, go elsewhere, dont make me come over there and kick your ass.

35. wow... so many opinions... well you know what they say... opinions are like a$$h*!@$ everybody has one. just because "you" (yes that means the people who post - and don't like it) don't like it, it doesn't mean it isn't art. My wife has worked with these ladies and they are a liberated group of great women... why would they sue? because the US is now full of litigious losers? i don't like your opinion/look/art so i am gonna sue? well isn't that all grown up! there is plenty of support for the show, the golden gals are aware of it and i for one will be there supporting my friends who are showing their art... will i like all of the pics? maybe not but that is why we live in america...

...and to all of you people bashing on the show and lenora... i have spent 20 years in the military serving my country... my opinion is... if YOU haven't served your country keep your opinion to yourself... you don't deserve to have one... you are only willing to run your mouth but not fight for your rights!

37. This is totally awesome. The chick with the red hair is gorgeous and the art show looks to be all kinds of fun. Come on people- it's kitsch, it's tongue in cheek, it's nude art of the golden girls. How can this not be fantastic?! And I'm pretty sure that they know all about it and are just as amused as the rest of the fans of this kind of thing.

People who hate it just don't get it and are taking themselves too seriously. :)

"If being totally direspectful to another human being is art, then her artist have succeeded. However, I would suggest to her , that they go back to art school. Perhaps study color theory? Human anatomy, and definatly technique. Or is this a new school of Velvet Elvis portrature art?" Did you ever stop to think that perhaps the whole point is that these two things DO NOT GO TOGETHER? Or even more radical, maybe they DO! After all the Golden Girls were vibrant and sexually active and this is merely eroticizing them. It may seems funny at first, but perhaps we should widen our definition of "sexy"

OMFG LENRA, you just made my freaking day by letting me know that it will be airing on Ring My Bell, Im a faithful watcher of that program, (well whenever work allows it, grrrrr I hate having to work for a living, but I do love my huge paychecks)! Steven knows me well. So since its starting at 8pm Cali time Im hoping that means its starting at 5pm NYC time, I work Saturday nites but I hope I can at least catch an couple of hours or so of it....I have to leave for work by 7:45pm. I hope it starts on time, I want to be able to see some of it. You're the best Lenora, screw the haters, but ya know what, they obviously are continuing to put your name out there so they are doing something good (just trying to be positive) LOL, Love ya, you rock my socks always.
