Lane Garrison was taken into L.A. County Sheriff's custody at the Beverly Hills Courthouse and booked.
He will spend tonight at Men's Central Jail.

17. Mr. Lane is a very angry person with way too much bottled up from his past. Talk about life resembling art. Its probably all surreal to him. Very tough situation. Give him some time to cool off when hes heated and do not give him too much time alone. Most of the celebrities in trouble as of late come from some broken situation, either adopted or dysfunctional homes and families. Thats no excuse but it's a bit troubling. Are they beibg targeted or predisposed to this behavior.
No one can choose how they come in the world Mr. Lane, but we can do our best while were here. You need to be trying to figure out how you can explain this and resolve this with the family who lost a son. They may never forgive you, but on other hand they may embrace you. Survive for your sister. And next time get a driver. Everybody already knows yourstory now, so what's next? How will you deal with this?

21. First of all this “dumb kid” like you all call him, is dead now. Please show some respect. Second of all, this kid, was “kid.” Lets not forget that he was a minor. Who is the one responsible to make the right choices a kid or an adult.

23. Killing someone else...the "price" needs to be more then 90 days. Paris Hilton got 45 days for driving on a suspended license and everyone lived.

26. Sorry but I don't think the punishment is as it should be, he killed a teenager and injured another!!!! If this was a person like me that is not a star, you know they would have put them in prison right away!!!! Hopefully once the report from the doctors comes out maybe the judge will give Lane the punishment he deserves!!!! I think the booking photo is funny because you know he is probably ACTING, he is an actor!!!! I just wanted to send my sympathies to the family and friends of the victim that died. I hope the courts give you and your son the justice that you all deserve!!!!!

30. Nothing will ever be good enough for the family who lost the son.
Some of you are asking for the impossible and you know it before you say it.
A law suit will be forth coming and even that wont be good enough.
They are understandably bitter and angry as anyone would be.
They see everything as a stunt an act or play for pity.
The public service announcement is good enough for me, I hope this entire story stops another young person from dying due to alcohol.
Lane is not a murderer and his eyes tell me he has died a thousand deaths sense that night. It told the judge that too. Prayers to all the victims.
