MySpace's Tom: I Am Not Your Friend!

Tom Anderson, co-founder of MySpace and supposedly a friend of everyone, has his very own "bodyguard" -- as one of his buddies swatted TMZ's camera away last night. Not friendly!

Our photog was outside Mood last night, where Tom went into an X-Games pre-party for a grand total of 19 minutes -- he exited smiling, but in no mood to talk to the photographers. Give him some, er, space?!

His buddy then struck our camera ... TMZ must not be one of his favorites! He's off our Top 8!

62. TMZ should give him this picture, it's better than the one he uses on myspace, lol!

63. Why would he want to answer a question from the paparazzi, when he knows for a fact that the paparazzi are just going to switch words and cause everyone to get mad.

I mean, look at what paparazzi did for "Lindsay," Paris, "Britney."

Sure, he's Tom from MySpace, but he's not stupid.

64. Myspace Sucks!!! The punks didnt hire me....Because im a musician..Their office is located in Beverly Hills in a Fox interactive building, and its full of nerd douches who been picked on, so they have a vendetta against anyone who might be percieved cool. They asked the stupidest questions in the interview...So why did you decide on myspace for a job? The dumb asses contacted me..I didnt even know they were hiring. Are you willing to put all outside activities on hold for the company...Maybe if you paid more then $10/hr...Then this one clown asked me do you want to be a rock star...What the hell is that about... I wanna make great music..B**ch!!!! They have no dress code for their company, but had a problem because I have long hair??? But the clown who was interviewing me had flip flops on with sweat pants....See ya around L.A. Tom...

68. Myspace was wonderful for me I actually made friends since I cant make any in real life and with that i made over 2000 friends in less than 2 years. But Myspace deleted my profile and I never did anything wrong and I never posted a dirty pic either. Myyearbook.com is great

72. this is to anyone who thinks tom is a jerk for wanting his personal space:

you are retarded! just think about it, it you were famous and was just trying to have a night out and have fun and kept being interrupted by photographers and fans and all that you would most likely do the same thing. just because people like you doesn't mean you like them, okay?

Celebrities are constantly bombarded by people wanting to know every single detail of their life, and are probably tired of it! i think that if someone was trying to interview me without a prearranged appointment, I'd do the same thing.

god, people are dumb these days...

73. myspace is overrated

no matter what it's used for, some people hang onto it for dear life. it's just weird and creepy. anybody who spends more than 1-2 hours on it (or thinking about it) a day is pathetic and needs to get a life. those who defend myspace might also have a little obssesion problem with it.

as for tom, he just wants people to leave him alone, obviously

74. He likes people, he just does not like TMZ or obnoxious people with video cameras who are trying to make a story out of nothing. this video is a prime example. I have met tom, he is always gracious and takes time with people who want to talk to him, take a picture., etc.

75. Can't say I blame Tom. He doesn't want to be "famous" or a "celebrity". That's why he shies away from interviews or other television promotions. He created a website, but so did a lot of other people. Don't see them running around and being called "famous".
